Great vegan paella - Edit
We had an evening meal and the vegan paella was excellent, as was the vegan Eton Mess. Not many other options on the dinner menu though. From the lunch menu I had the Spicy Bean Burger. The vegan option removes the halloumi and replaces the brioche bun with ciabatta.

Down in the Hood - Edit
The fact there is a separate vegan menu was most encouraging. I had the veg tempura as a main served with VG curry mayo on a nicely presented wooden platter. The carrot pieces were far too tough and hardly coated in batter but the mushrooms, broccoli & cauliflower was fine. I was thinking that I maybe should have gone for the safer vegan burger option. The triple cooked fries were delicious though. My dining colleague had a meat burger which absolutely stank! I’m so glad I don’t dig on swine.

Absolutely gorgeous - Edit
What a great experience. We'd walked like 3 hours so a seat in the sunny window was just lovely. We got the risotto and the tempura veg to share, both absolutely DELICIOUS, and a couple of fresh orange juice & lemonades 😍 our dog was super happy having a sleep under our table in the bar. The food was just gorgeous, the risotto was flavoursome, lots of fresh herbs and delicious stock so looks like they've improved from the last review. The tempura veg was served with an insane curried mayo and sultanas...oh my god AMAZING 😍👏 very friendly service, loved it. A very relaxing afternoon, would recommend.

Not too shabby - Edit
Decent option for an 8pm in Robin Hood’s Bay. There’s an a la carte menu with a plant based page served in both the restaurant and bar. I went for the safe broad bean risotto option, it was quite watery and loads of vegan cheddar so that was the only flavour. It was pleasant though.
