Like being abroad!

Had a lovely meal and drinks here during the recent heatwave and we felt like we could have been on the Med. We sat on the upper deck looking out over the beach and it was just beautiful. Great choice of vegan options, we had the arancini and the tofu burger, exceptionally good chips! They also had Jude’s vegan ice creams available. Dog friendly and good service. Would definitely come here again.

Pros: Location, Good vegan choices , Dog friendly

Beachside cafe with good vegan choice

Lovely cafe with absolutely stunning views over Broadsands beach. They serve locally sourced fresh foods. Small indoor seating area, plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the bay.

I was impressed with the vegan options on the menu and their clear detailing of allergens. Vegan dishes included Chilli non carne, Breakfast plant burrito, Sausage bap, Pea & mint arancini, Dahl soup, Black bean bap, Tofu burger, Plant based breakfast, Pasta pomodoro small plate, Salads, Vegan cheesy fries, etc. I’ve only had a coffee and flapjack here which were great but I definitely want to go back to try their food on offer!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, making sure we were able to get a seat and checking in with everybody.

The only down side was the coffee being served in a disposable cardboard cup even though I was eating in (and was the case for everyone) and the cakes coming in plastic packaging. This was disappointing given their ethos and mission is to be the “greenest cafe” so seemed very strange to me.

Pros: Gorgeous beach side location overlooking Broadsand, Good range of vegan options on the menu , Claim to have green values

Cons: Plastic packaging on cake and disposable cup, Limited indoor seating
