Love it! - Edit

I stopped by here this week on my way down route 8 for lunch. The owners were very friendly and the food was great! I had a bean taco that had some lovely nacho cheese on it and a chicken and broccoli empanada, and the whole meal was like $4! SO CHEAP and tasty!! I will definitely be back :)

Pros: creative food, great prices, easy off route 8

Cons: small cafe, not the most desirable eat-in area, not a lot of quick meal options (10 min wait)

Good food, unfinished store - Edit

It seems like the buisness owners have fallen into that new-business trap of not preparing much food because of slow business and then having to prep everything to order when customers come in. As a result, we had to wait a considerable time for our food. It was all delicious except for the taco shell tasted stale (I'd suggest the owner switch to plain corn tortillas which last ages and don't go stale), again probably a result of low product turnover.

The place itself is cute but still seems unfinished with all the unused equipment sitting out and the empty display case. We had to ask the person working (owner I assume) if they were actually open. I bet they get that a lot.

The food was really tasty. The Quinoa pilaf was perfectly cooked. The avocado and olive sandwich had these delicious rich salty olives. The taco had a great cheese sauce, but the stale shell kinda killed it. The empanada was okay, but appeared pre-made. Still, we had 4 items and 2 drinks and it was 20 bucks. A great value

Pros: Tasty food, Inexpensive , All vegan

Cons: Long wait times, Stale taco, Small portions

It was okay. - Edit

Went here for lunch with my mom after she purchased a groupon to show support of my veganism.

Half of the items on the menu weren't available because they were switching up the menu.
There were no desserts available.
We were there 20 minutes before lunch items were available and every time my mom made a comment about the one lunch item her eye kept getting drawn to the guy working would gruffly remind her on how it wasn't lunch time yet. We got a few items. One a little side order taco was amazing. Even my mom loved it. Everything after was just bland. Overall a not great experience. Extra frustrating considering it was my moms experience trying to support me/understand veganism.

Cons: menu items not available , food bland , owner/employee attitude

up and coming - Edit

Today was my first time and I will go back. I had the nachos which was served with their homemade cheese sauce. They serve the cheese sauce cold. For my entree, I had Hawaiian Rice and it was very flavourful.
They have the cooler empty right now. All of their food is gluten-free and it doesn't keep long. They might take it out cause they keep the desserts in the fridge near the cooler and it's visible to peruse.

Pros: Lots of options and reasonably priced

Cons: none

This is what vegan food should be! - Edit

Stopped by on a whim last week and was thrilled to find affordable vegan eats (finally!!). The owner was incredibly friendly and quickly served us. I got a curried chickpea dish with rice and it was incredibly flavorful and only $5-6! Admittedly, it didn't completely fill me up but I could have easily ordered another and still had an incredibly affordable meal. When I went in, the display cases were empty, so I would love to see what this place is like when it is fully running. More people should definitely check out this spot. If I lived closer, I would eat here all the time!
