Always my go to place - Edit
Very convenient after Chatuchak or landing at DMK. Get off Mo Chit and walk across to this hidden gem (or take a bike;)). Exchange cupons and eat wherever they’re all good! My fav the three dishes to pick from next to the papaya salad lady (also a must) and the tofu katsu. Very cheap skewers 10 thb. Katsu 20, 3 dishes 45 and papaya salad 35

Hidden gem - Edit
This place is well hidden at the back of a shopping mall. Cross the road from the Chatuchak market, then follow a small path, you will arrive. There are different stalls with various food choices. Relatively cheap. I got noodles and mushroom salad for 55 baht.

Cantine - Edit

So delicious! - Edit
Upon arrival you change some Baht for coupons. Quite a nice system as you get your coupons back in Baht whatever you don't spend. There are quite a lot of food stalls which all looked vegan as far as I could see. The food was so good and really cheap, so we came back the day after. Some dishes: pad thai, khao soi, spicy tofu salad, grilled sticky rice with banana, fried dough with teriyaki filling and we basically only scratched the surface. For 150 baht you can get a lot of food here! Highly recommended, all friendly people as well.

FUN! - Edit
What a fun experience! Buy your coupons when you walk in to the right, and then enter the food court to the right and use your tokens to get food! I spent 95 baht in total, and was FULL! Absolute bang for your buck. I got some yellow rice, tofu katsu, clear soup, mushroom “sausage”, a fun drink, and a sago dessert. Try the sago in coconut milk!!

Food stalls and vegan supermarket - Edit
What's not to love? Vegan food for days and a vast majority of local people. The supermarket has interesting finds, e.g. vegan moon cakes.

Authentic Thai near Chatuchak Weekend Market - Edit
This spot offers authentic Thai food at very affordable prices, with many dishes under 40 baht. I had the noodles, which were good, and my husband enjoyed a fresh pizza and Longan juice, both of which were also good. You purchase food tickets at the entrance and get a refund for any unused tickets.
Read moreWe used Google Maps to find the place, and it was accurate, located about five minutes from Chatuchak Weekend Market. Avoid trying to take a short cut through the mall as there is no exit to the street.
If you’re in the market and hungry it’s worth a visit but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
Pros: Affordable

One of the best places in Bangkok - Edit
Excellent authentic Thai food. If you haven't eaten there, you haven't been to Bangkok.
Read moreNote: I advise against visiting Chatuchak Market deeper. Trade in wild and domestic animals that are kept in terrible conditions. But rest assured, you can eat at The Vegetarian Society and avoid this very sad sight.

So, is this really closed, or did they just move the place to this new address? There are recent youtube videos (June?) of this place.

yummmmmm - Edit
This place is AMAZING! The food is diverse and delicious. It has open windows and a cafeteria vibe. Not a place for a date but perfect for big groups and lunch hangs. I highly recommend.
