Oldest Vegetarian Restaurant in Metro Manila

It is a must to dine at this place, no matter if you live near or far, or if you're just visiting the country, because their food is delicious and reasonably priced. My all-time favorite is their Southern-Style Fried Chickun, and it goes so well with their gravy. I also love that you can choose to pair it with pasta or with rice. I spent my last birthday here and brought my whole family, and even my picky eater brother was impressed because all the 12 dishes that we ordered were super good!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, big servings, cozy place

Cons: Not everything is vegan

Excellent food!

I LOVE this place but as it is a bit on the pricier spectrum, I tend to save it for treats. Even my non-veg boyfriend loves going there.

Pros: AMAZING food

Cons: A bit pricy, Difficult to get to without a car

Lovely dining experience!

Me and my non-vegan/vegetarian friend thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here very recently! Not much to say really, it was great overall. I found the place quite cozy too. We had Spinach and Cream Cheese Dumplings, Crispy Southern Fried "Chicken", Meat-Free Kebab, Guava Lemon Cooler, Orange Ginger Cooler, and a slice of the Vegan Chocolate Cake. Everything tasted great!

Lovely!!! Worth every cent spent! I would definitely come back here to try other items on the menu! ♥

P.S. Sorry for staying past the store hours and thanks for being accommodating!

fried macaroni and cheese balls

Get the Mac and cheese balls. These are fried cheesy goodness. Can't really go wrong with that. I found the steak sandwich and sauces a bit salty.

Good but not great

I walked past this place several times over the Christmas/New Year period 2012/13 before finally finding it open and getting the chance to go on my last day in Quezon City. The roller door had been concealing a courtyard at the front, which was cute, but my partner and I sat inside where it was cooler. The menu seemed interesting enough, with a few vegan options clearly marked (except I had to query a supposedly vegan meal with buttered rice: turned out they could make it vegan) and Filipino dishes. The kitchen and counter are a fair distance from the tables, so I had to get up and walk over to the counter and wait for somebody to come out of the kitchen (which could be a while)or call out before I could ask for something. There's an interesting array of fruity cold and hot drinks and organic coffee. The food was all right, but really just what I'd expect from mock meat: I ordered the "Korean spare ribs". Our drinks were refreshing and afterwards I had to order the carrot cake with "butter" sauce (the only dessert at the time). Very nice but so much sweet sauce I didn't know what to do with it. I'd certainly go back to sample more menu items but alas it was my last day there.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Vegan desserts

Cons: Small space and layout not ideal, Mock meaty
