Great food, reasonable prices. Albeit a bit higher than the Google listing. Delicious food though, bit awkward of an area, it's directly across from a BBQ place so if that bothers you, make sure to eat elsewhere once you pick up your food.

Fully vegan food truck located in the parking lot of a non-vegan BBQ joint, which worked out great for our “mixed” family of vegans and non-vegans. I got the BBQ rib platter and my son got the jerk chicken and steak. Prices were very reasonable. Wasn’t expecting to find a vegan place in McDonough while in town for a baseball tournament but I’m glad we found this place. Hoping we play there again so I can go back!

We had an absolutely delicious lunch from The Vegan Side of Things. My husband ordered the ribs with three sides and I ordered the moxtails with two sides. The highlights were probably the sides, although our mains were also excellent. The moxtail dish was basically a mushroom and vegetable stew. It didn't try to mimic the texture or look of oxtails, which was fine with me. It was a very flavorful stew and I would definitely recommend it. As for sides, my favorites were the baked beans, the mac and cheese, and the fried oyster mushrooms. We also got a sweet tea with mint, lemon, and pineapple, which was very good.
Read moreWe had originally intended to order online, but the site kept saying it wasn't taking orders, so we just ordered in person. It took less than 15 minutes between ordering and getting our food. We took our food to a park because it's not a very pleasant area to sit. There was a very smoky barbecue from the rib shack in the parking lot, and the food truck runs on a very loud generator. They had music playing loudly to mask the generator noise.
I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area!
