This place has the BEST Pho I have had in years. Even when I reheated it for left overs, it was still delicious. Come here and get some food! The portions are large and the prices are great!

Has a lunch counter with some precooked options for combination plates and also a cook to order menu.
Read moreI was there on the late side for lunch so had the only three things left and forget note what they were but all were tasty! Their protein options are all soy based vs gluten based but many dishes have soy sauce so not totally gluten free.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Large and spacious seating area.

Super Friendly Staff, but Food Was Disappointing - Edit
I was very excited about trying this place, since I absolutely love Vietnamese food. Everyone was super nice when we entered the restaurant. We ordered spring rolls, eggless patties, Broken Rice plate & a bao. The food was brought out to us, but it was al cold. No one in the previous reviews stated that the food was cold. It looks like they precook everything which is fine but nothing was reheated. We were really disappointed.

On an island with not many options, this was such a nice find for us. Wonderful friendly owner, lots of yummy options. I took some Bao buns as a takeaway and ate them with my Vietnamese friend who said they were great! She is also a massive foodie, so that is a big testament to the quality and flavour of the food.

This place is a must! Everything is fresh and made with love. Very tasty! My friend and I were there when they had sold out of most things, but they quickly put together a great dinner for us. So happy their business is doing great!

Great! For real get the "Pork" belly - Edit
This place was great! We got there kind of close to closing so there were only a couple of items to choose from, but they were awesome. The owner guy made us 2 plates of what he had left and gave us pho broth to sip on! The mixed plate came with tofu patties, vegan pork belly, and a kind of beef slice things with rice! And everything was tasty! They also sell sauces like vegan fish sauce and hot sauce! It was perfect and hit the spot!

I haven’t been in person yet but I have had takeout brought in by folks at my work and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. I honestly don’t know how they do it, but they clearly spend a lot of time preparing all of their dishes to make them so flavorful. The texture of all the meat substitutes is on point. The char siu is fantastic, and the tofu “egg” patties are crispy and delicious. The pork belly is wild. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. Awesome place to have in Hilo.

Best vegan food on Big Island - Edit
Go here. You won’t regret it. Amazing selection of vegan foods, great wuhuarou (braised pork belly), lots of fishy cutlets, incredible fried rice and super tasty iced coffee. Also, the price is super reasonable, on the low end, for vegan food, and the owner is incredibly friendly. He shared some of his techniques, I’ll be trying them out at home. Only downside is that it’s not open for dinner, but you can’t have everything.

I've been eating Vietnamese food since I started eating solid food, so y'all know this review is legit. This was 100% the best vegan pho I've had in the States, and I've tried probably 15 by this point. I would probably fly back to Hilo just to try out the rest of this menu. Friendly staff and amazing food. Lots of options and easy to do gluten-free if you need.

How did I not discover this place until right before I was moving off island!?? That tragedy aside, this place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves fresh delicious Vietnamese food. It’s run by a super kind couple and everything they make tastes delicious and is, of course, vegan. It’s affordable and fast service so it’s super convenient to pick up during a lunch break. Only wish it was open for dinner service too. So grateful for more 100% vegan places on the island. I’ve loved the spring rolls, assorted lunch plate, and pumpkin curry. Will be back when I visit the island!
