The owners previously operated The Cruelty Free Shop at 179 Karangahape Rd. Relocated from 143 Williamson Ave. Open Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm, Sat 10:00am-4:00pm, Sun 11:00am-3:00pm.

Great place with a lot of hard to find vegan items. The only place to reliably stock the vegan Kitkat! Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area, they have a lot of vegan meats and cheeses, plus a nice selection of vegan imports from paté to canned calamari

Stumbled upon this place on my last day in Auckland, and am so glad of that. It's so close to Tart and Maison des lys but didn't show up on Google searches.
Read moreI was ecstatic that they have Fry's polony, which hasn't been available in Australia for at least a decade. They also have square bacon slices, which look very similar to that used at Maison des lys in their ham and cheese croissant, and which I found delicious.

I called in to pick up some nooch after a visit to Tart bakery around the corner. A small store but some great chilled & shelf items on offer here which also includes clothing and cosmetics. Moderate prices....Friendly staff.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Items are pricey but it's to be expected with such a niche specialty store in high-rent areas. So lovely to not have to double check the ingredients cuz it's ALL vegan.

Great little shop with plenty of food products, including chilled and frozen, as well as belts, bags, etc. If I lived in Auckland, I would be shopping here (and the other location on Maidstone) regularly. This one happens to be located around the corner from vegan Tart Bakery.

Been here many times. Love the nuttelex butter. Can't beat it. Shaneze is so lovely and welcoming. She has awesome knowledge about the yummiest things in tbe store and even directed us to Tart Bakery round the corner and gave us a long list of local place to eat.

New to Auckland and on the hunt for a SFV sun screen to protect from the strong November sunrays, I took to a local facebook page for advice on where I might find this. The Vegan Shop was recommended to me!
