Nice local restaurant - Edit
Local food in a very local vibe. Had a katsu made with Omni Pork, which is hard to go wrong, and very tasty g-nuggets that tastes like fried chicken. These local restaurants were the highlight of my visit to Taiwan.

A plate of amazing food! - Edit
I hesitated to go here, because I felt like it would be very western-oriented foods. It is not the case at all! While they serve food like risotto, they also served many Asian dishes. And the quality is so, so good. We tried the Omni pork katsu with rice, ‘gyokuro mushroom with rice Japanese style’ and the G-nuggets. All the dishes were outstanding, the meat replacements were very, very good and the mushroom dish was put together so well, every single ingredient tastes great. If I stayed longer, I would’ve come back to try more items on the menu. Very much my favourite place in Tainan. Staff is very friendly too.

Cosy Japanese food & pizza! - Edit
We both ordered Japanese curry with rice! It comes with a omnipork katsu cutlet, rice, lots of sauce and a few side dishes within the meal such as seaweed & tofu and then a miso soup :)
Read moreThere is an English menu and it's also self service where you order at the counter but grab your food from a tray afterwards. It's a cute place only open for short hours of the day!

Great food, no toilet - Edit
I have 3 complaints and then I'm done: no toilet, no English menu and no tofu in the miso soup.
Read moreOnto the important stuff: the food was absolutely delicious! Even though it's indicated that some dishes are spicy or can be made spicy, they are really not. But both the Sichuan ramen and the Japanese curry were flavoured well and were aromatic. I especially liked that the curry came with sufficient sauce, it was the perfect thickness and not only did it come with omnipork, but also with tofu! So great to see a place that understands the need for protein!
Pros: Well textured curry, Lots of protein , Good variety in menu
Cons: No toilet, No English menu , No tofu in the miso soup

Great food with a variety to choose from - Edit
I really liked having a mixture of Asian and Western food items to choose from. We ordered a Japanese curry, spicy soy milk ramen noodle soup, and truffle pizza (some of which we took away as the portions were a good size).

Excellent Curry Rice - Edit
The owners were fantastic and friendly, and extremely helpful with our lack of Chinese. But above all, the dishes were fantastic. The Japanese curry rice was especially delicious, and the ramen we had was wonderful too.

Healthy and tasty local vegan food! - Edit
I went to this restaurant multiple times a week. It's owned and run by a couple. They are both nice and passionate about vegan cuisine. Food is made upon receiving each order. The crepes are must-try!
