Terrific vegan food. Nice people. Great location. - Edit

I was curious about this listing for a vegan food vendor located at the Grand Bazaar NYC market (Sundays on the upper westside). Today I stopped by and my curiosity was generously rewarded.

I had jackfruit BBQ on a bun with a side of mac-n-cheese, and a slice of delicious coffee cake for dessert. There was a pleasant surprise of cole slaw on the sandwich bun under the jackfruit. The whole meal was accompanied by an iced Moca - a coffee alternative grown in Africa. It was delicious with a subtle coffee flavor and no bitterness.

The Vegan Nest food stand is family run and part of a broader endeavor that you can read about on their website. (Also, the Grand Bazaar market is noteworthy because it donates profits to local public schools.)

Pros: All vegan menu, Gluten free options, Great location

MoCa is Life - Edit

The Vegan Nest is an amazing company that provides healthy alternatives to anyone interested in transitioning to or maintaining a plant-based lifestyle. At the heart of this company's practice is love and it emanates in every cup of Moca you taste. If you enjoy healthful, wholesome living, buy Moca! If you want to sip while saving your cells from the dangers of caffeine addiction, drink Moca. If you just want to be cool and join a movement that is time-tested and proven to keep you alive and healthy for a long time, drink Moca. Moca also goes well with the awesome baked treats sold by The Vegan Nest. Tell a friend to tell a friend that Moca is, literally, life!

Pros: Healthy, Tasty, Made with love

Cons: There isn't enough for the entire world , You can't just have one cup, You can't just drink two cups!

A Couple working hard on their craft, and with their CHRIST! - Edit

The Vegan Nest was created by a beautiful couple who feel very passionate about adhering to a diet that promotes a healthy life, and which coincides with the wisdom of Bible Scripture. I've had the pleasure of partaking in some of their delicious offerings, and as an Author of books, I have also had the pleasure of being invited to several of their gatherings, where we were fortunate to partner in presenting our products to attendees. In the time that I have known them I can truly say that they are committed to sharing their gifts to the betterment of all those who choose to partake. I wish them nothing but blessings, and hope they continue on this path towards doing GODs will with their wonderful calling.

Pros: nice food presentation, satisfying portions, friendly

Cons: More locations needed
