great hot dogs! - Edit

It was hard to finde the place, and schedule is only for night time, but it was worth it. There is no place to sit but great and fast vegan option to have when you go out drinking in the area.

It's a vegan hot dog cart... - Edit

I spent an evening of indulging in excessive alcohol consumption, dancing, bar hopping. Finding The Vegan Hot Dog Cart at an unreasonable hour in the morning in a sea of fellow roisterers them, consuming cheese and meat filled street food vendors. This Cart was a gift from the party gods! I got the Holiday Dog, it was splendid, and gave me the strength to stop around in my stilettos to my uber a few blocks down. The vendor was super sweet and took a picture with me.

Pros: Its street food. expect street food!

Good but difficult to get to - Edit

My wife and I split a veggie dog from here, and it was pretty good! It tasted like a real hot dog, but its texture was really soft and it looked kind of unappealing. However, they had lots of toppings to choose from (and you can get as many as you like without any extra charge), and it was a pretty good dog overall! The worst part was trying to actually get to the hot dog stand. It's on a street in downtown Orlando surrounded by bars, so be prepared to deal with parallel parking, one-way streets, and lots of drunk pedestrians if you want to get there. We went on a Wednesday night and it was still really busy and hard to find parking! I'm sure this location is great if you're already out bar-hopping and that they probably get a lot of business from people out partying, but otherwise it's really inconvenient.

Pros: good food, lots of toppings

Cons: difficult parking, inconvenient

They make fun of their customers - Edit

Very rude service. They will judge you based on how you look. Be careful if you look too "fancy" or dressed up. They will scoff and make fun of your clothing amongst themselves loud enough for you to hear them. Plus their hot dogs were cold in the middle and soggy buns.

Miserable costumer service - Edit

MY vegan wife and I have been trying to check out this cart for months. We finally caught up with them today in Jacksonville. We showed up at 11:45 AM. The employee or owner said they'll be ready at noon. No problem we went to Bold Bean for coffee and tea. We came back at noon. We waited to be asked our order with only us waiting. They totally ignored us and helped someone who just walked up after us. Thank god European St Cafe has vegan hot dogs. I'll make sure to let my other vegan friends know about their miserable customer service. I had to give them 2 stars to publish this review or they would have given them no star.

Pros: NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING

Cons: SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE

Yummy! - Edit

Definitely a great taste, but $5 per dog is a bit expensive. Love the options and add-ons, but I wouldnt plan a whole meal around it.

Pros: tastes great

Cons: pricey

Awesome Dogs! My boyfriend loved his so much he keeps it on a leash and walks it every day lol... - Edit

My biggest regret is not ordering more dogs to go. I ordered both a chili cheese dog and the holiday dog. I didn't try them till we got back to the hotel we where we were staying were at otherwise I would have ordered 4. Both were fantastic. A must have!

Pros: Unique flavor combos

Cons: Sort of expensive. Should have a deal for ordering

Seriously delicious! - Edit

We stop by on Saturday nights whenever we go out dancing. The buns are steamed perfectly and the toppings are amazing. We always get a holiday dog and a chili cheese dog with fried onions. But the holiday dog is my favorite! It has Florida cran orange chutney, Carolina BBQ sauce and fried onions. TRY IT!! They also have Mexican Coke! They have foil to wrap them up if you want to take them home instead of eating it right there (If I stay home I make my husband bring me a hot dog). Most of their dogs are $5 and they do take debit/credit cards. These are the same people as Dixie Dharma from Market on South so you can also try them there on weekday nights.

Pros: umm VEGAN HOT DOGS, Amazing sauces/toppings-chutney, BBQ, Great hours

Cons: Not many calorie free drink options (only water)

Not the best vegan hot dog I've had. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed.

Hot Dog bliss - Edit

Ok "bliss" and "hot dog" are an odd combination, but I love finding this cart around town. Last year's Fringe festival had rotating 'guest' restaurants, and several of them were vegan. The hot dog cart made a second appearance, when another vendor cancelled at the last minute. I was sooo happy. I rarely ate hot dogs before I became vegan, but now they're one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Many topping choices, some wonderful, some weird.

Pros: yummy , lots of topping choices , inexpensive

Cons: none...vegan hot dogs, people!
