casual all vegan community shop - Edit
Started by people wanting to bring vegan food and awareness to Oakland in a genuine community sandwich shop, the Veg Hub is new, open limited hours, and sometimes out of menu items, but even then the owner/chef's passion and tasty, affordable food make it worth a visit. It's more targeted at non-vegans so the food is presented to not look super healthy, but there are plenty of veggies to be had if you want. Portions are large. Everything is tasty, although it has been on the salty side for my taste. Inside is very casual, with picnic-style tables and card games available. It's very friendly and relaxed. Can't wait for them to grow up as a restaurant and offer smooth delivery/takeout, more seating, full menu all the time, and expanded hours!

Can't believe how delicious this place is! - Edit
Second time ordering from here. I ordered the sandwich of Dutch Crunch bread with Philly Cheese Steak with BBQ sauce and a side of cheese fries. Their cheese here is just so yummy! It has a little bitter after taste but delicious nonetheless. I had to introduced my family and friend and they loved it as well!

A new favorite! - Edit
Had the chicken with jalapeño ranch, and tried my friend's bbq Philly cheesesteak. Both were amazing! The Pellegrino sodas are also a delight, I recommend the prickly pear. I'm sad I can't give more than 5 stars. Out of the multitudes of vegan restaurants I've eaten at in my travels, this ranks right up at the top!!

This place was great! I had the philly cheese steak and chicken on a salad base DELISH!! The staff and chef are so sweet and very accommodating. I only wish the plates were available because I really wanted to try the Mac n cheeze but that won't be ready until March ? I would DEF go back great food and good vibes

This restaurant is amazing!!! The quality and taste of their food is just fantastic. I would go over and over again. I believe everything is homemade? I love their chicken melt on dutch crunch bread. Their chicken and macaroni and cheese is really good too. It's the perfect price and they give hefty portions. I would recommend to all vegans and non-vegans!
