Vegan food was great but we came here thinking it was still fully vegan. It’s not. - Edit
Put vegan food was great just like the other times we’d been and ordered a “meat” sandwich this time thinking like other items, it was a soy or non animal product alternative. It’s wasn’t. Was actual meat. Could smell it and see it was clearly not an imitation product. No mention of the change from fully vegan to not (yes I know they never mentioned they were vegan at any point on any socials or websites but it was well known and were told so if asked previously). The appeal of coming here was knowing it was vegan without having to check or ask. Not mentioning this change anywhere is quite disappointing and very ethically wrong. We probably won’t return now given we know this cause it felt disingenuous and had we known it wasn’t fully vegan, we’d have taken our business to a fully vegan establishment.
Read morePlease for other vegans sake, update your socials/website. Some can’t stand the smell let alone the feel/look of meat so not being transparent about the change when based of the reviews here, a lot of people would still assume it’s fully vegan is wrong.
To the owners of The Twin, come forward and publicly address this.
Pros: The vegan sandwich was great., Bread is yummy! clearly fresh & made in house, Chips/sides are yummy too
Cons: Selling meat options, Not explaining it isn’t fully vegan anymore, Not being transparent about the change

Very good sandwiches but not fully vegan - Edit
Not sure if/when they changed but FYI they serve animal products like ham. 80% of the sandwich options are still vegan by default, may change depending on menu so just check I guess.

My new happy place - Edit
The Twin is genuinely incredible - the focaccia is so fluffy, the zucchini sandwich is super tasty, the coffee is on point and the staff are really friendly. I've been 3 times now and have had the perfect experience every time!

Best sandwich of my life - Edit
Home made focaccia you would cross the city to eat, fresh zingy ingredients, amazing combinations, vegan. The marinaded zucchini with broccoli sauce is the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The beetroot is a close second. It’s more like an experience than a sandwich. And they do proper great tea.

Vegan, but they don't talk about it. - Edit
This place makes the best sandwiches you have ever eaten. Everything baked and made on the premises. Everything is vegan, except cow's milk available for coffee.
