A Sunday roast which was a little too pure vegan - Edit
Dived into Trent lock today after seeing it had a vegan Sunday roast on happy cow. Wasn’t quite what I was looking for. Just a plate of roasted vegetable’s and a side bowl of a tomato based sauce. So I opted for the soup and triple cooked chips instead.

Good vegan food at a decent price! - Edit
Had the vegan roast dinner, the meat substitute was super fancy and was better than yet another meat free sausage. Had quite a few nice looking vegan options on the menu. Shame the yorkshire puddings aren't vegan, though.

Had really high hopes of this pub. Vegan menu had several choices, and some were also gluten free.

Cons: No plant milk so no white coffee for vegans, Table not cleared after first course., Manager very defensive over lack of plant milk.

A lovely restaurant! - Edit
This pub is a favourite of ours, not just because of the beautiful location and atmosphere of the pub itself, but also due to the vegan options being very delicious too! We’ve been a couple of times now, and never been disappointed by the food we’ve had. It’s also dog friendly which definitely makes everything better!

Pleasant pub, nice location - Edit
Had a nice meal here last week. Unfortunately had run out of the starter vegan pasty, so had the carrot falafel starter. Chickpea burger and chips were ok. Have had the vegan food from this chain before, quite pleasant. The reason to visit here is more for the location than the food though, nice walks after by the river

Nice, local pub! - Edit
My partner and I have been here a couple of times and we've really enjoyed the food! The staff were nice and it had a nice, 'local' feel. Really impressed with the separate vegan menu and was pleased to find Old Mout Cider there which is my favourite vegan cider. The only downside is that it's a little expensive so it's more of a 'treat'. :)
