Over-priced and disapponting

The menu looked amazing with two vegan burgers, loaded fries and a hot dog, but it was a huge let down. The vegan ‘pulled jackfruit’ burger was awful, looked like the jackfruit chunks were straight out of a tin, and it came with no sides or anything listed - no coleslaw or pickles etc. - despite no indication that these weren’t available with the vegan options. When we asked where the rest of it was, the guy said coleslaw wasn’t vegan anywhere. The portion of fries was pretty small too. And all that still cost £12. Even a pint of Coke was £4 which seems steep.

The vegan ‘not’ dog was okay at best but was overpowered by way too much mustard and again meagre fries, and definitely not worth £12. The order came out wrong too, sadly without apology, but they did refund the burger upon request.

I’m gutted to leave a bad review, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Looks like the previous reviewer on here had a way better experience a couple of years ago so perhaps it’s a change of staff or management ☹️ It looked like the non-vegan options were far superior value for money, but as a vegan I’d go elsewhere.

Great, simple, tasty food

Really tasty vegan options, asked lots of questions to check stuff (which is great!), And great burgers/chips type food.

Pros: Knowledgeable on vegan concerns , Great for meat eaters and veggies, Good portion sizes

Cons: Not a huge number of options for vegan/vegan
