Vegan burrito has real cheese.

I ordered the vegan burrito to go, only to realize once I was almost done with it, that it had real cheese in it. I called and apparently even if you order a “vegan burrito,” you still have to specify that you want vegan cheese with it. Kinda frustrating as the dairy will definitely make me sick. Just wanted other dairy free people on here to be aware of this so it doesn’t happen to you.

Vegan cheese!!

It’s not listed on the menu, but as others have mentioned they have vegan cheese. They also have a couple of vegan vegetable options for burritos/tacos/bowls/etc. Super nice folks working there, as well.

Pros: Vegan cheese , Vegan cheese, Did I mention vegan cheese?

Delicious but be careful

Everything we've gotten here has been delicious. When you order the vegan option you can choose between zucchini, mushroom and cauliflower. The zucchini and mushrooms are so yummy. But even if you order the vegan option you need to tell them no cheese because they'll add it if you don't!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Fast, Yummy

Delicious and Fresh. Lots of Vegan Options

So glad to have a delicious mexican restaurant with so many vegan options. (All main dishes, except for one had vegan options). The friendly staff also understood what constitutes as "vegan". Even though the menu doesn't specify, they have vegan cheese for their dishes and they had three vegetable options for their vegan dishes. I got the cauliflower taco and vegan vampiros. My husband got the mushroom taco and quesadilla. They were all delicious. The guacamole was really good! Looking forward to eating there again!

Pros: Lots of options, Vegan cheese, Tasty Guacamole

Cons: Not a lot of decorations inside if eating there, Menu could be more specific about the vegan option

Delicious vegan options!

We tried the vegan burrito, quesadilla, vampiro and tacos. We went twice during our stay at Hutton Brickyards! One night was cauliflower and mushrooms and the other night they added zucchini. Everything we had was amazing! Love that they have vegan cheese. Their drinks were great too and so were the people! Homemade hot sauce was also amazing! Highly recommend!

Range of vegan Mexican food options

This restaurant's menu lists a "vegan of the day" option for most of its main dishes: burritos, tacos, quesadillas, salad, vampiros, and rice bowl. On the day I visited, I was offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. I chose indoor, and the inside turned out to be pleasant. It turned out there were two vegan options that day: mushroom and cauliflower. I ordered a burrito with both of the vegan fillings and no rice. It was served on a cardboard tray with two sauces. I found it delicious. The price, at $10.95 plus tax and tip, seemed very moderate. The place also serves soft drinks, Mexican beers, and other drinks. I did not look into the available side dishes, which included corn on the cob. I would recommend The Tortilla taco bar for those interested in Mexican food, just based on my one visit. Located downtown near the Rondout waterfront.

Pros: vegan options on a clear menu, well-done Mexican food
