Serves meat, vegan options available. Offers a vegan pasty, vegan roll and chips cooked in veg oil. Also has vegan ice-cream. Open Mon-Thu 10:00-15:00, Fri-Sun 10:00-17:00.
We tried their vegan Thai curry and Mediterranean veg pasties and their vegan roll, all very good. There's a kids' meal deal with the roll that included a doughnut or muffin and drink and the staff member told us that they weren't vegan (our daughter doesn't mind).
My family picked up a selection of vegan pasties and sausage rolls this morning. Everyone enjoyed the Mediterranean- and Thai-style Cornish pasties and sausage rolls. The crust was so savory and flaky. The fillings were perfectly seasoned. Well worth the walk down to the Saltburn pier.
The location of this venue is convenient for anyone fancying a trip to Saltburn, as it is located right on the main promenade and you can grab something to munch on whilst you stroll along the beach. I thought that the displays with the various pasties and pastries were well presented. One downside is that there was no indoor seating that I noticed.
Their vegan options are clearly labelled and staff very knowledgable about what is and isn't vegan friendly. One massive downside was that when I went there was no dairy-free milk, so I had to make a stop next door at Surfs-up which has some really good vegan options.
My mediterranean vegetable pasty was a little over £4, which isn't too bad as a one off because I thought that the quality of the food was outstanding. They also did a few other vegan options like a sausage roll and another type of pasty. Thumbs up from me!
This kiosk on the seafront is run by cheery vegan-friendly people and they have several hot veggie and vegan pasties available, and huge vegan sausage rolls. A surprising find! No (veggie) chips at the time of our visit (Oct 21).
Thai vegetable vegan pasty and also vegan sausage rolls available from this takeaway by the sea. Both items are a good size and very tasty. Friendly staff too.
Only place in Saltburn that cooks chips in veg oil (not beef dripping, watch out!!) delicious pasty’s & vegan ice cream, helpful knowledgeable staff. Sit on the beach and munch
