Lucky to have this on my doorstep!

I live near here and it's so nice to stroll along the canal on a sunny day!
For those who haven't been before, all the seating is outside with some of it covered. There is a toilet - you need to ask for the key. They take cash or card. It is all flat so access for buggies or wheelchairs should be ok in the paved area as you go in, though there is a grassy bit with picnic tables that would be more difficult to access. Parking is very limited so you're best off parking somwhere in Rodley and walking along the canal to it.
As it is a very small prep area, they don't have a particularly big food menu - lots of hot and cold drinks to choose from though and in summer they also serve beer and a couple of cocktails. They usually have vegan cakes on offer, cinnamon rolls supplied by a local business along with amazing flapjacks which I really recommend! The soup is often vegan; I had a delicious squash and chickpea one on a cold rainy day last time I went! The person working in the kitchen was really fastidious about making sure they had checked all their labelling etc to make sure they were serving me the right things, and brought vegan spread to go with my bread. They had vegan whipped cream for my daughter's hot choc and also had chocolate sprinkles.
I'd give it 5 stars but don't think I can as it's not a fully vegan business. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Tiny Tea Room

Stayed nearby and in the morning we had a stroll along the canal towpath and came across this small tea room. I was not expecting to see any vegan options, but was pleasantly surprised to see plant milk (oat only) on offer, as well as some vegan food. The food menu is very limited, it’s more of a hot drinks place, but I really enjoyed the Cherry Bakewell cinnebon accompanied by a big teapot of Yorkshire Tea. Bliss on a cold morning! The soup looked delicious, I would return for lunch next time to give that a try. Very popular at the weekend. Check socials for opening times as this may vary in winter months.

Somewhat disappointing

Apparently the owners of this place are “vegan” yet the menu, all of which could easily be veganised, is 99% animal based other than a token offering of plant milk and a vegan cake/flapjack.
There are so many suppliers nearby that could supply vegan cakes, ice creams, savoury goods etc yet they continue to sell animal products.

Pros: Location

Cons: Minimal vegan offerings

The couple who run it are vegan but they run it for her dad, who is not vegan. To say they do have vegan cakes (from local businesses) vegan ice cream (from an independent company), oat milk, vegan hot chocolate, vegan whipped cream, vegan spread, vegan soup, in such a small business in a location like Rodley is pretty good going and they've made a lot of changes since I first moved here 7 years ago; the only other place in the village that has a vegan offering is the sandwich shop that has one sandwich option and a couple of donuts.
