WOW - Edit

Finally popped to the Tiffin food truck (on the high street on Fridays) and wow, what a meal. All the food is vegan and tastes incredible. We had a pea and potato curry with onion bhajis and a thali plate (a selection of all the options, including curry, chapatti, spring roll and a samosa the size of your head!) Really well priced too. And super friendly owners. They're opening a new restaurant in a permanent premises soon and I can't wait!

UPDATE 2025: Tiffin now have a permanent restaurant on Victoria Road and we go every week. Only open on Friday's and Saturdays (and sometimes Thursdays- check their socials). The food has never disappointed. Best takeaway in Kirkcaldy hands down.

Excellent punjabi street food - all vegan! - Edit

There's a rolling aset menu, we had the meal deal for one and there was plenty of food! Two curries, rice, chapati, pakora and samosa with two dips. All insanely delicious and great value with a very generous portion.

100% vegan Indian food - Edit

Fife’s only (at the time of writing) 100% vegan Indian food. Friendly owners, food all home cooked and you can TASTE the food is made with love. The flavour is outstanding!

Absolutely best food, lovely people - Edit

I've been ordering the set menu for over a year now and it is never a disappointment. The curries are nice and spicy, and the dahls are absolutely to die for. I always save the samosa for breakfast the next day and spend all night looking forward to it. Not having to decide what to order, and just saying for how many people and letting them take care of it is fab.

I love to support them as the only fully vegan takeaway in Kirkcaldy (as of recently, as far as I know). I didn't realise for the longest time that their raita is also vegan.

My non-vegan brother lives with me and since I pay for most of the food and bills he eats vegan at home. Ordering takeaway is one of the few chances he gets to eat non-vegan food. And yet when I ask him where he would like to order from, he chooses The Tiffin! In case I hadn't convinced you yet.

You can also find them at markets around Fife, and on Kirkcaldy High St most fridays, with a delicious range of snacks and meals. Such a treat.

I'm looking forward to the restaurant!

I seriously recommend these people. Amazing homemade authentic vegan Indian food. Everything is so yummy and very good value I feel.

It is a set menu but to be honest everything is so good it doesn’t even matter.
