So friendly - Edit
I love this place and the people who work there. They regularly have vegan muffins and other vegan food options. They carry naked juices (or maybe Odwalla) for smoothies. Their coffee/espresso is OUT OF THIS WORLD too.
Pros: good location, delicious coffee & food, great & friendly service
Cons: can be expensive, can get REALLY busy, hard to park

great place to hang out - Edit
The Third Place has a nice, authentic atmosphere. I used to hang out here before/after yoga classes at the yoga school upstairs. The coffee is great. Vegan baked goods available! And very friendly staff. Sometimes they get pretty busy, but it's a nice place to hang out while you wait for your order.

Cool place - Edit
Cool place for vegan latte or try their rooibos latte... Too many flies outside and smokers need to respect others eating. I'll go back for the latte but I will not sit, atmosphere has gone down over the years.
Pros: great teas, lattes, good value, friendly staff
Cons: a good disinfectant when mopping, smokers be banished, try to reduce flies in outside seating

Coffee - Edit
The Place perhaps functions better as a coffee shop than a destination for a good meal. Good service every time I've been, though. Good coffee is its strong suit. No one will hassle you if you sit for a few hours -- so the seats may fill up.
Pros: coffee
Fun little digs - Edit
Coffee bar with food on the side. The vegetable salad didn't have as many veggies as hoped for, but the dressing was good. Had the Plethora wrap with hummus, sprouts, sunflower seeds, and tortilla chips on the side. Just got it without the cheese to be vegan. Food was made fresh while we waited, but they forgot the toast that came with the salad and it took 20 minutes to get it to us and they forgot the tabbouleh that was supposed to be in my wrap, so service gets an "eh". But, a coffee shop with vegan selections--you take what you can get! I'd go back.

Funky Oasis - Edit
The Third Place Cafe offers some refuge in a city that is disappointing in terms of its vegetarian/vegan offerings. Food is good and reasonably priced. The vibe is relaxed. Ate there a few times during visit to the area. Can be tough to find a seat.
