Fabulous vegan menu choice

4 stars only permitted as this is not an exclusively vegan or vegetarian restaurant but there is a great choice of vegan and vegetarian dishes including Mediterranean tart, sausage and tomato pie, cauliflower and lentil curry. There are also vegan desserts. They also do a marvelous vegan afternoon tea (book in advance for this)
My non vegan friends love it here as there is plenty of choice for them also, some have even tried the vegetarian options and enjoyed them.
The owner is extremely helpful as are the staff.
The garden centre itself has changed hands recently and the Terrace owner and staff may not be there in the future, I will update if anything changes.

Pros: Wide choice of menu options for vegans and veggies, Friendly staff

Cons: Does get busy at times

Good vegan choice

A very good choice of vegan food. However, it gets very busy and is then very noisy

Good vegan menu but quite expensive if you want more than just coffee and cake.

Visited a few times and once they wasn’t very knowledgeable about what was vegan and what wasn’t but the manager is very accommodation and nice.

£9.50 for the mains is expensive though.

Lovely mix of food

We visited at lunchtime on a Sunday. The place was very busy but the lady on the door found us a table for three. As our son is Vegan, we are always on the lookout for places that cater for us all. The range of food available here is great, a wide range of food on the vegan, vegetarian and mainstream menus and the quality is excellent. Our son had the Vegan sausage dinner, while my wife and I had beef and lamb dinners. My son then had Vegan fudge cake and Vegan ice cream while my wife and I had bread & butter pudding and ice cream sundae. All meals were excellent . We will definitely be visiting again, but we'll book ahead if it's to be a Sunday lunchtime.

Pros: Really good range of menus for all requirements, Good quality food, Reasonable price

great choice

We really enjoyed our time here. They had a full menu including desserts dedicated to vegans as well as one for our veggie counterparts. Food was fresh and tasty! Definitely need to go back to try one of their desserts.
