Serves meat, vegan options available. Salvadorean woman with a fruit stall who sells cold fruit juices, fruit, and tamales. While most of the tamales contain meat, she does make a veg one which is pure corn (but has butter and cheese). Please confirm if there are vegan options and let HappyCow know! Tell her you're veg, and she'll make big tamales loaded with seasonal vegetables for you, ready the next day. If you don't like spicy, make sure to tell her not to add chili.

Cheap and tasty! - Edit
If you're on a tight budget and want a quick fix to eat and rice & beans is getting real old for ya, this sweet lady has some really tasty little corn tamales you can get for 50 cents each! She has a few plates so you can eat under the shade of her stall if you like. I would get like 4 or 6 of them, cover them in her homemade salsa, and I would chop up an avocado over then that I'd buy from her stall as well ($1.50 for a big one!). When learning we were vegetarian, she offered to make some big veggie tamales in the banana leaf style. Those were $2 each and really tasty. But watch out, I bit into a whole habañero chili in one!!! wow!!!!! You might want to tell her not to add the chilis. And her fruit juices are tastier than all the other places that sell the drinks.
