Out-of-the-ordinary Mexican with vegan options and great margaritas - Edit

Read moreI spoke with the manager to get suggestions. She suggested the Azteca Tacos (grilled cactus) and the Chilaquiles Verdes which are both vegan if ordered without cheese. My partner really likes cactus, so the tacos were a big hit for him. The Chilaquiles were kind of like nachos with beans and salsa. Both were super tasty. I would probably order the Veggie Fajita Bowl next time so I'm not eating quite so many chips!! We also ordered chips & salsa and asked for a side of hotter salsa/sauce which quickly elevated our food.
The restaurant was super busy, but once the server came over the food and drinks were quickly delivered. We ordered the Jalapeno Margaritas with light agave (I HATE sweet margs), and they were spicy and strong.
Pros: Vegan/Vegetarian Menu, Authentic flavors that are unique in town, Several margaritas can be adjusted for sweetness
Cons: A bit of a wait for service due to crowds
