Kimchi Tofu! - Edit
We had a burrito and a taco plate with kimchi and tofu in them. Both were great. The hot sauces really topped them off. One was vegan and one was vegetarian. The guac was enjoyable as well. Nice to find a place on the beach with vegan options. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about veganism.

Good Choice after Dropping Bags - Edit
I just dropped my bags and walked a few minutes down the beach to get the tofu tacos platter. They made it with dairy in my corn, but they remade it quickly for me. Definitely recommend! That said, get some guac on the side to add back on fat and moisture after removing the diary.

Tasty Bean Burrito Bowl. - Edit
My wife had a burrito bowl with black beans as the protein. Very flavorful. I had the crispy taco with fried tofu and kimchi. The taco shell and kimchi were tasty, the tofu didn't have much seasoning. Nice atmosphere to seat along the Broadwalk and people watch.

We waited about 40 minutes to get our tacos. They were pretty good (especially the tofu kimchi) but the elote definitely had cheese even after we asked for none.

Our experience was sub-par. Burritos only come with rice, beans, cabbage, pico and mushrooms for $12. At that price I would expect some fajita veggies in the burrito too. The service was pretty terrible although I can understand it might just have been our server.

The chips and guacamole are on point! The chips have some sort of seasoning on them and were good by themselves... their guacamole is very creamy and the salsa has a fruity flavor, very interesting.

I love Mexican food but most of the time I end up feeling like I ate too much carbs and not enough protein. The Taco Joint has tofu for their tacos, burritos, and bowls so it works out perfectly for me. However, they are not exactly authentic Mexican. I would say they have a bit of Korean spin to their food.

I got the crispy tofu salad without cheese. The dressing is vegan! The salad was so huge and amazingly filling. My boyfriend got the crispy tofu burrito and loved it. There are a lot of vegan options if you take off cheese and sour cream. And a huge bonus: our server was incredible. My salad came out without grilled pineapple or refried beans on it (which the menu says it has) and he brought them out to me so quickly when I asked for them. It was all around a great experience

I ordered a salad and was really surprised it wasn't a typical salad. It was huge and loaded with Romaine Lettuce (with a vegan house dressing), refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, cabbage, grilled pineapple and crispy tofu -- it was delicious and really filling! They also offer typical Mexican food that can be customized plant-based only, but the best feature is the fried tofu -- who doesn't love fried tofu?! I highly recommend...oh, and the staff was really friendly too!
