Convenience Variety and Price - Edit
I walked in and was pleasantly surprised there were something like 15 different flavors of clearly marked vegan cupcake on the shelf. There was also a full vegan cake.

The cupcake itself was moist and sweet, sort of cloyingly sweet, great for kids birthdays. The price was super reasonable, we were able to get a variety of cupcakes to try without breaking the bank

Great Vegan Friendly Bakery in Hayward - Edit
Came across this bakery on a search for vegan friendly bakeries near Hayward.
Read moreI was happy to see many vegan friendly flavors, all at reasonable price.
Taste is also excellent. I usually get the mango moose cake.
Update (Oct 2020): Perhaps due to the pandemic, somehow their service has been poor as of late. Firstly they messed up on an order on multiple occasions, didn't write a greeting as requested, and don't answer email regarding any questions related to why the above issues are happening.

AMAZING! - Edit
Ordered a vegan Black Forest cake and vegan red velvet cupcakes for birthday party. I contacted them through email, response was swift and helpful. I was able to pay easily online. My order was ready for pickup when I needed and the woman serving offered to carry one of the boxes to the car for me!
Read moreOkay the important part is taste...WOW I'm not even a fan of Black Forest cake but this was amazing. Both cakes were moist and delicious. Days later guests were still asking me "was that cake really vegan? That's the best cake I've ever had!"
I would definitely use The Sweet Art of Cakes again for any special occasion.
They do have a few vegan cupcakes on display when you go into the store but if you want to be certain I'd pre-order.

They make great cakes! - Edit
My family has been ordering from Sweet Art of Cake for years. When I went vegan I was concerned I wouldn't be able to order anything here. I was surprised to find out they can make nearly all of their cakes and cupcakes vegan! Love their cakes!
