Great ambience and staff - Edit
The staff member was so lovely and accommodating, and the venue was beautiful.
Read moreI especially enjoyed the miso mushroom sauce that came with the gnocchi, the gnocchi itself was denser than I'd expected or liked.
The focaccia came with plain butter not the garlic miso butter on the menu, but the focaccia itself was great.
The tre-miso was delicious, soft, creamy, and tasty.
The macadamia cheesecake was very creamy, great cheesecake texture. I'm not a fan of berry compote unfortunately.
The pasta ragu was a little bland, and the sauce more like a napolitano.
Sad to see this venue closing down, and that their new venture won't have many (if any) vegan options.
Pros: Tre-misu
Cons: Bit pricey

Good but pricy - Edit
Service was very nice and really liked the decor and ambiance. Food was also nice, but at $55 per person for the vegan set menu, this is quite a bit more than other places with set menus around $35 pp.

Great food, surprise yourself! - Edit
I would not usually order something like the strawberry bruschetta, but my husband did and it tasted amazing. The mushroom skewers also surprised me positively, very similar to marinated chicken in texture and taste, probably better. The biggest surprise was the polenta with butter beans, since I expected a pasta and got the fried polenta — I hadn't really worked out whether it was part of the sauce or fried. Anyway, my first bite swept away my initial disappointment, and I truly enjoyed the "fried polenta with beans in sauce", as you might call it. Perfect texture for the polenta, many flavors in the sauce, just excellent. We're definitely coming back!

Very fresh and delicious - Edit
We had the tasting menu and every dish was delicious. I was so excited that I didn’t take a photo of the gnocchi, which was my favourite. Definitely will be going back. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Lots of vegan options which is a bonus.

Absolutely incredible! - Edit
One of my most memorable dining experiences ever! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the wine list was excellent, and the food nothing short of exquisite. Highly recommend trying the degustation menu for a special occasion, which can be modified to be fully vegan upon request. Whilst this was my first time visiting the Sunshine Inn, it will definitely not be the last!
