Great food. Makes a raw diet bearable

Love the food and all of the raw and cooked options. Desserts are amazing--really shows what can be done with raw food.

The only downside is that it can take a lot to fill you up, and it's pricey. I'd go bankrupt if I ate here daily...might be worth it though.

Great options!

We had the breakfast burrito - very tasty. Took a chocolate chip cookie to go - moist & delicious! Also took the carob cupcake - good but a bit dry. Great options for vegan food! Loved seeing all of the raw options.

Pros: Good options, A lot of variety for raw food, Good portions

Cons: Location - took us a bit to find, Price

Sunflower Center Sets the Standard for Health!

The Sunflower Center is the healthiest restaurant we have ever found! The completely organic, vegan, and gluten-free menu has many wonderful options. The staff is happy and engaging, the atmosphere is created for inner peace. The food consciousness here really sets the standard for physical and psychological health - not to mention the exceptional desserts!

Lydia's is a great vegan cafe

Lydia's at the Sunflower Center is an organic and vegan cafe. The Sunflower Center is located in an office park. It is associated with Lydia's Organics which is based here. I was told that Lydia visits the cafe almost every day. There is an extensive menu, both cooked and live. I had a Shiitake Mushroom Crepe plus soup one day, and the Cooked Sampler another. The sampler was a great introduction, and would be good preparation for the next meal. The buckwheat crepe was delicious. The cafe is spacious, with all sorts of interesting items to look at and buy.

Pros: Great vegan & organic cafe, Lovely food, big menu

Surprising Vegan option in San Francisco north bay

Fresh ingredients, Friendly staff, Vegan as well as gluten free options in this gem of a place. Warm atmosphere makes this place a worthwhile trek.

Pros: Good Vegan option north of golden gate, Menu selection, Friendly staff & decent ambience

Cons: Pricey, A bit of a trek even from San Francisco

Loved it here!

Great place for raw good enthusiasts. Even the cooked food was delicious. We had the raw sampler platter, gluten free italian pizza, Yerba mate with coconut milk and chocolate cheesecake. We loved it all! Also took home some goodies with us like bars and grain less cereal.

Amazing!!

This past Saturday we were visiting the area and having checked out Happy Cow suggestions for vegan restaurants we visited The Sunflower Center. Wow!! This is one of the most amazing places for those of us that are RAW enthusiasts and want great choices. Sunflower exceeded our needs beyond any expectations. We have a few good places in the Grass Valley, Nevada City area, but Sunflower was fantastic. We would make the trip to Petaluma just to eat at Sunflower. Great job Sunflower!!!!! We were also pleased to see that they were showing "Thrive". What a great movie and an eyeopener that everyone should see.

Pros: freshness, choices, price

Cons: none
