Serves meat, vegan options available. Located in the Midland Hotel. Has a sea view of Morecambe Bay with a regularly changing vegan menu. Starter dishes could possibly be vine tomato & basil salad with tomato salsa & basil gel or courgette flower aromatic couscous, lemon and ginger dressing or shaved fennel with charred cucumber, radish, samphire, mint and basil. Mains are charred baby gem, peas, mint, broad beans, samphire or sauteed wild mushrooms, baby spinach, crispy capers & preserved lemon or olive and basil quinoa with slow cooked tomato, Parisian potatoes and olive oil dressing. Vegan side dishes can be ordered of minted potatoes, greens, mixed leaf salad or market vegetables. Desserts are a selection of fruit sorbets, fresh fruit salad or dark chocolate brownie with seasonal fruits. Also offers vegan breakfast, including hot cooked sausages, fried potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans, as well as continental. Open Mon-Sun 6:00pm-9:30pm. Lunch is served daily 12:00 pm (noon) - 1:30 pm.
