Easy and substantial!

Food was good. Very filling. I appreciate a counter order place with casual outdoor seating. Friendly staff. The burrito and sandwich started to fall apart a little bit so we had to eat fast. I love how many sprouts were on everything😄

Washed out, flavorless food

The food is pretty bland and the combination of favors/ingredients is weird, akin to throwing day-old leftovers together to make a dish, which could turn out good but doesn’t. Would not recommend this place.

Huge and delicious selection and friendly staff!

It’s one of those places where I have a tough time deciding what to order because there’s so much and it’s all good!

Legendary

The stand is epic - with what they can create and where they are located. I see it as a vegan cultural icon of Laguna. I’m amazed at their soft serve… they use actual fruit and make it to order. Also a big fan of their soups and burritos😄and baked goods.

Slow service, but delicious food and good vibes

The location is absolutely beautiful. The beach vibe and walk up service is charming and fitting for Laguna.

The pastries are delicious, as well as the smoothies.

Everything is fresh and truly tastes wonderful.

The staff is a bit younger, and less attentive. Had to wait a really long time for two items.

Pros: Varied menu, Healthy, Amazing / beautiful location

Cons: Slow service, Not a lot of waiting area / places to sit

Delicious, nutritious and filling

One of the few restaurants where I can get a delicious oil-free meal and ice cream made of pure fruit, no added sugar. I love coming here.

Pros: Big menu of delicious food , Oil free options , Flavorful and filling

Cons: Too far from home

Love it here!

I’ve always loved coming here. I don’t live in CA, but have family that do and I always make it a point to come here when I’m in town. It’s just good, healthy, fresh food and so many options. Can’t beat that.

Pros: Lots of options, Good quality, Fresh

Cons: A little on the expensive side

Delicious

Quick and friendly service. I ordered the delicious avocado pita. They do not skimp on the alfalfa sprouts!! The pita was so full, it was hard to bite into. I’d recommend scooping out and eating some of the filling with the chips that are served on the side.

My friend ordered half a sandwich and the chunky cauliflower soup (also delicious). While eating the food outside, they offered me a free side of soup!! A happy surprise.

Love this place!!!

Pros: Street parking, Beautiful outdoor seating

Ok.

Food was ok. We had the Tamale Plate and “famous” Avocado sandwich. I wouldn’t come back to try more. There is so much on the menu, I kinda feel like if they narrowed the menu and focused on making things more special it could be more exciting. For example the beans on the tamale plate were basically canned Pinot beans. Just kinda all basic.

The Stand Natural Foods has never served canned Pinto beans ever. Our pinto beans are 100% organic and prepared on site daily. We do not use any onion or garlic in their preparation. They are cooked with organic carrots and celery which are removed after cooking and a small amount of cumin and kosher salt. Nothing else besides purified filtered water. We have a condiment tray where you can spice them up a little more to your liking. But again there have never been canned Pinto beans sold or used at The Stand Natural Foods ever and we’ve been cooking them the same way since 1975.

Delectable!

Healthy, fresh, and scrumptious! We had a breakfast burrito and fruit-covered waffle - both were perfect.

Big menu, little seating

My husband and I took a day trip to Laguna Beach from San Diego, and we came here because we knew it the one eatery we knew for sure would have vegan options. We discovered The Stand on HappyCow, and the food is really good. We both had pitas, probably because they were on the cheaper side (not over $10).

It was really busy, so we had to wait for our food, maybe 15-20 minutes. Or maybe it just felt long. There isn’t much seating. We found a couple of stools on the side of the building, but they were on an incline and not too comfortable. I just found it easier to stand and eat. Next time I think we’ll be taking the food to go and find a picnic spot.

Pros: 100% vegan , Fresh whole food

Cons: Pricey, Little seating

Family tradition 🌱❤️

My great grandma Tillie and Grandma June made The Stand part of my childhood weekly since 1975. They lived off Thalia. We would walk down to the beach a couple times a month for carrot juice and sandwiches. It was fun to take my daughter and her boyfriend today. Still delicious!!! 🌱 It has bugged me that the order and pick up window is the same..they have other windows. When I was little I was too short to see and now with COVID...it would be safer.

Pros: Delicious , Lots of food choices, Yummy fresh juices and smoothies

Cons: Not enough seating (u can eat on the beach)

Very basic menu

Ordered the sprout sandwich and a smoothie. Both very plain and kinda forgettable... too bad this is the only vegan option in Laguna!! Don’t get me wrong... it wasn’t bad but it was like what non vegans think vegans eat... you know what I mean! 🌱

Absolutely a stop on my itinerary whenever in Laguna Beach

I have enjoyed the food, and the outdoor patio anytime I am in the area! Happy to support a long lasting vegan restaurant and always finding value not just in the food and welcoming yet also the cards and books available for customers while waiting for the food! I will be back for sure ❤️

Retro Yummy

Large variety of delicious options, with generous dollops of guacamole. Soups were fine but a little blah. Friendly, fast service. Fun retro hippy vibe. Peace out!

Great little place in beautiful Laguna beach!

This little outdoor cafe has been around since 1975! Found it through the HC app while on vacation here. Tons of menu options with emphasize on Mexican dishes. I had the tamale special and it was great! Came with a nice little salad, beans, guacamole and salsa. All fresh and served on compostible plate and utensils. Added a house-made lemon aid. We’ll be back!

Pros: Tons of options, Small dedicated parking, Located in beautiful Laguna beach!

Cons: No cons that I saw!

We were visiting Laguna Beach and visited The Stand for dinner. They have a large selection of foods to choose from. Beans were delicious. I would recommend The Stand if you are in the area. They also do juicing.

Pros: Quality of Food, Accommodating to Dietary Restrictions , Friendly

Cons: A little expensive, No indoor seating
