Serves meat, vegan options available. National Trust cafe at Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate. Offers a curried cauliflower pasty with vegan slaw and salad, 3 bean chilli with flatbread or bloomer, sausage sandwich, wedges or jacket potato with vegan cheese, coronation chickpea sandwich, plain and fruit scones, chocolate chip cookie, berry flapjack. Open Mon-Sun 10:00-16:30.

Vegan-friendly café in a beautiful setting

Some vegan options are marked here but check the full menu and ask staff as our highlight was a curried cauliflower pasty that we nearly overlooked as it wasn't marked vegan on the board. The three-bean chilli with flatbread was mild but nice enough - a sprinkle of herbs would have livened it up. Some of the bakes are vegan too but these weren't labelled either - staff couldn't have been more lovely and patient checking the list for us on a busy day.

Pros: Delicious homemade lemonade , Nice coffee cups
