Great food but ....

Venue convenient, food good nicely presented, service good except that my stepdaughter's request for no mushroom was ignored. Unfortunately they don't take bookings so you could turn up and be very disappointed, which is a shame because it's one of the two best places in Bedale to eat and is open on some days when the other one is closed. However 75p (seventy-five pence) EXTRA for oat milk for ONE mug of tea is outlandish!
Several high chairs are available and there are books and games for children.
It's all hard surfaces so noisy and the toilets are upstairs.

Pros: Good food, not masses for vegans but enough, Friendly service, Convenient venue

Amazing as always!

Such a nice place, great vibe and lush food. Great amount of options. I had the mushrooms and hummus, with avocado. SO tasty! And the staff are all absolutely lovely. Would recommend!

No vegan options.

Vegetarian options but no specified vegan options. They will offer to adapt a vegetarian option by removing non-vegan items but didn't offer to sub in extra vegan items to replace them. I spent £11 for a 5 item breakfast (1 hash brown, 1 tomato, 1 mushroom, 1/2 lentil burger and a few slices of avocado) which wasn't enough food so left hungry unfortunately.

Since the move to the market place in December 2024 there have been several vegan dishes plus others that can be vegan. It's worth giving them another try!
