The Spot

I ordered from The Spot for the first time today and was really impressed! Kathy was friendly and engaging, and the food was ready really quickly. The Bahn Mi was so delicious! So many flavors and textures, and I can't believe how scrumptious the tofu was. I'll definitely be back!

Menu is 100% vegetation, most things are/can be made vegan.

This place was wonderful. It was a very small place on the corner, but it sure did deliver. The food was amazing. I had "The Bowl of Wonderful" with a curried tofu. The person with me had the caramelized onion noodles with the ginger sauce. This was my first time really eating out as a vegan, but i have been vegan for eight or nine months. It was really great to have some great vegan food. :) The woman working there was really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

This was my first time in the Charlottesville area and searching for places I can eat (I am gluten free and vegan so options are usually limited). The Spot had good reviews so I decided to check it out- I was not disappointed. Julie and Kathy were more than accommodating and helpful and even leaving there I was so excited to try my food (I got the Cup O Wonderful with vegan BBQ and noodles with carmelized onion tofu). I got one for lunch and one for dinner. Let's just say I had to find something else to pull together for dinner because I ate them both! It was absolutely delicious. I also have a very sensitive stomach and system and was perfectly fine with both of these items. Clean ingredients. I planned on going back the next day and was sad to find out they were closed Saturday so I could not but I will DEFINITELY be back next time I am in the area. Thank you Kathy and Julie!!!

The Spot has delicious, fresh food. Everything I've tried is great, whether it's noodles, curried tofu, cup of wonderful, vegan bahn mi, or jackfruit bbq. Kathy and Julie are fun and provide excellent friendly service.
