Spicery- restauracja hotelu Novotel

Jedzenie było słabo doprawione, ceny dość wysokie, porcje małe, źle oznaczone opcje wegańskie/wegetariańskie. Kelnerka powiedziała, że możliwe że szef kuchni będzie mógł przygotować coś wegańskiego spoza karty, ale udało się coś wybrać. Zamówiliśmy foul, który nie był pastą tylko daniem, po dodaniu soli nawet smacznym z całymi ziarnami suszonego bobu. Podawany był bez pieczywa i ryżu, odmówiliśmy dodatkowo plain naan, który był miejscami tak przypalony, że mieliśmy palce od węgla. Fresh market był ryżem z warzywami bez żadnych przypraw, podawany na zimno. W karcie była informacja, że zawiera arabski wegański ser, ale go tam nie było... Wszystko było świeże i z produktów dobrej jakości. Potrawy wyglądały bardzo ładnie. Restauracja posiada duży taras, ale ze względu na wysokie temp. nikt z niego nie korzysta, obsługa była zdziwiona że chcemy tam wejść :)

Pros: Świeże produkty, Wysoka jakość produktów, Ładne wnętrze z dużym tarasem

Cons: Drogo, Małe porcje, Potrawy nie do końca zgodne z opisem

The Spice Is Right

Clean, comfortable, and classy, this marvellous spot, located close to the gold souk, delivered up a 24k experience.
Right from the off, as I feverishly tucked into my first few items, it was evident that I was in for a treat. And I so proved to be the case, as dish after dish gave a wonderful array of flavours and textures. The foul was rich and hearty, the hakka noodles were incredibly moorish and poha was light and fluffy. Even the sambar, something that I usual eat out courtesy rather than desire, saw me returning to it more than once. A special mention too for the bread as it was superb and complemented all that I slathered upon it nicely.
The only slight tarnish on this otherwise glittering meal was the fact that there were no milk alternatives available. However, given the quality of the spread, and the overall enjoyment I derived from the occasion, it’s not a blot that would dissuade me from recommending your presence here, or indeed stop me from making mine known again.
