best veggie meal in the area

Had dinner here with the hubs - we had the vegan black bean burger and the vegan BBQ sweet potato burger on pretzel buns. Very good and a nice treat. The atmosphere is great, local art in the walls, stage for live music. The waitress was very friendly and service was fairly quick. Seemed like most people were ordering the veggie entrees - I kept seeing acorn squash and veggie burgers being brought out. Support businesses like this that offer specifically vegan dishes - it's a big step in a place that generally isn't very vegan friendly.

Pros: specific vegan dishes, great atmosphere, good prices

Cons: serves meat, a bit of a drive, not openduring the day during the week

MY FAVORITE VEGAN SPOT

This place is awesome! Everything they serve is locally sourced, hence the name, and they have some truly wonderful vegan options that make going out to eat fun again. Living in Wisconsin, I have yet to find a completely vegan restaurant near me, so this was a real treat! I had a vegan (Seitan) BLT with vegan aioli that was out of this world! They also have a pulled sweet potato BBQ sandwich that I will definitely be having next time. And they have cauliflower poppers for appetizers that I will also be trying! The outdoor seating is amazing and they have a dog-friendly patio where they serve your pets water. Very very good!

Pros: DELICIOUS, Unique vegan options, Dogs welcome!

Cons: None!
