The best place in the world - Edit
Title says it all. But to elaborate this community-oriented music venue does so much for the local area and serves superb food at the same time. The pizzas are excellent and the sandwiches are some of the best around, made with fresh Focaccia and all food made with local ingredients. The roasts are absolutely worth getting off the sofa for as well. Super friendly staff as well tops it all off. Will recommend this place to everyone until I die.

Good vibe - no chips - Edit
It was great to know that it was fully plant-based so I really enjoyed that but we happened to go on a day where they had no chips at all. My non-vegan family ended up in the KFC next door because of that

Why has it taken me so long to get here?!? - Edit
In fall 2025 they are serving delicious pizzas, chips, and sandwiches with croissants and pain aux chocolates. Except the day we came they didn’t have chips. It was our first time trying the pizzas and the Mediterranean was a knockout! The dough was fantastic and I was so impressed with the cheese. I thought they’d made it themselves but no, it’s just Violife. Staggering as I don’t typically like that and have never seen it melt so well. The pesto, spinach, courgette and mozzarella sandwich on focaccia was great and warmed up. It was pretty oily and served with a very oniony coleslaw I liked. I enjoyed my pumpkin spiced latte too and the croissant. We need to come back more often. I’m a bit sad they aren’t doing Sunday roasts any more but maybe it was too much faff or not enough demand.
Read moreThey had criminals break all their front windows recently and had to close at short notice. They need all the support they can get and are such a wonderfully generous organisation offering pay what you can meal deals and events. A must visit for anyone in the area. There’s also the record store but it’s moving to a new location soon.
Cute community space with a stage and fully plant based menu. I’m annoyed with myself we didn’t come sooner but it’s a bit out of the way for us. Very nice decaf oat latte that apparently is sourced from local suppliers. The Redefine Steak Sunday roast is awesome with such attention to detail, horseradish sauce, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding, roasted Brussels. Just YUM! The chocolate coffee cake was the only disappointment as it had clearly been sitting out for days and was dry and hard on the edges. I should have gone for a hot pudding instead. I was tempted to take away a pizza to eat later but restrained myself.

Great ambiance with good food - Edit
Went for the first time on a Saturday afternoon, and they only had pizzas on the menu. It was not a problem for us.

Just great, simple food done right. - Edit
Great vegan spot that doesn’t overcomplicate things. The food was simple in the best way: well-balanced, satisfying, and clearly made with care. No gimmicks, just solid cooking. The space pulls double duty as a record store and live music venue, which gives it a laid-back, creative vibe. Drinks were spot on too, with a good range and not just the usual afterthoughts. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're into music and want a meal that doesn’t try too hard to impress but ends up doing exactly that.

Great vegan music venue - Edit
Only ever been when I've had tickets to a gig but I've always eaten here when visiting as the pizzas are fab and I just love the ethos of this place. I'm often not convinced by vegan cheese but the vegan cheese they use on their pizzas is very tasty indeed!

Had the vanilla latte which was nice and creamy. The f*sh finger sandwich was also good and reminded me of the actual fish ones I had as a kid. The staff were lovely and we were a big table, so I felt pretty sorry for the 2 servers!

Fabulous Music Spot - Edit
What a great place! The decor has a modern cool upcycled vibe, but not in a grubby way. We didn't get to see live music but would love to get tickets for a gig in the future. The food was good, but sadly no desserts were available after our Sunday Roast, however we did share a piece of coffee cake from the counter which was lovely with our coffees.

A real find for vegans. A cafe and music venue that specialises in plant based food. The decor is quirky and laid back but all done with a cool sophistication. There is a relaxed atmosphere helped by friendly staff. There is music most nights often with free entry. Overall a great place to chill.

Such a great space. Great service, great music, great food, all plant-based. Also has a small vinyl records shop and they also have live music on certain nights. Cozy vibes. I had the Sunday roast which was delicious & a huge portion. My friends each had a huge salad of the day. Will happily return.
