Open Wed-Sat 11:00am-8:00pm. Closed Sun-Tue.

My husband and I have been here twice. The food was great both times. The second time we went, they were out of several menu items that we ordered, but I think the owner is doing a lot of the work herself, so I wasn't upset. She's doing a great job! My husband loved the bac'n on the burger.

I tried the vegan Big Mac and mac&cheez. The flavors of both were good. I did have to wait quite a bit to get my food, but I appreciate that very thing is made fresh to order.

Really exceptional, homemade food! Our table ordered the fish sandwich, chicken sandwich, a burger with bacon guac etc, and the rib meal with mac n cheese and truffle fries. Ranks up there as the best vegan food I've had. Rib meal was expensive and not that large, but oh how I've missed ribs!

I get tired of all the vegan 'restaurants' out there serving mostly fried vegetable 'plant-based' faux meats they buy from outside, and also lacking any kind of actual vegetable!
Read moreBut the Soulful Vegan was an unexpected surprise - I had their home-made jackfruit ribs, they were excellent, great taste, the BBQ sauce was fantastic ... and the sides included nicely spiced fresh steamed broccoli and collards with cabbage, as well as great truffle fries.
I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in the Akron area!
Only negative - everything is served in disposable plates etc ... but styrofoam?! Charge $1 more per meal and use biodegradeables!

Food was amazing!!! So good!!! Staff is extremely friendly but there usually is a bit of a wait if its busy. Can't wait to see how they grow because the food is seriously phenomenal, I can't emphasize this enough!

My wife and I stopped here for a quick lunch. Being only modestly hungry we decided to share a meal and ordered the ribs with a side of onion rings and sugared sweet potatoes. The consistency and taste were just like real barbecued beef ribs (as best I can remember), but obviously without the bone. In short, they were really tasty. The onion rings were also very good; this is the only vegan restaurant where they actually serve a side of onion rings; other places may put one or two rings on a burger. Why other places won't sell a side of tings is beside me.

We enjoyed our two entrees: a mushroom and Swiss burger and a beefless burrito bowl. We were told the protein’s base was made from pea protein. It was good; it had a nice consistency.

We were told the restaurant has been open at this location for 3 months. Service was friendly, staff were hard working. Expect a wait for the meal to be turned around - there was a wait. We observed staff working hard, taking care of carry out and dining-in orders.
Limited parking in front. Not to worry: lots of parking in the back.

It was the most delicious a vegan ribs I have ever had in my life. Being a good cook it would be probably hard to repeat such great taste. Food was amazing. Just waiting time for food was long about an hour. The restaurant was very clean which is a big plus. I wish they were serving food in normal plates and using silverware.

The staff were so friendly! They had so many options it was really hard to choose. But we went with the Humpty Dumpty burger and the ribs meal(which came with 2 sides, we got Mac n cheese and coleslaw) Everything was excellent! When I tell you I've never had anything like these ribs...omg just SO SO amazing! We just went today and already can't wait to go back. If you're pressed for time, I'd recommend ordering ahead as everything is made to order so it does take a bit. But it is SO worth the wait! Definitely recommend 10/10

So, apparently this restaurant has been around for 2 months, but we didn't know about it (even though it is quite close to us). We went to the Hardesty Park Art Fest today and found out about it. We also tried their "Hangover Fries." My husband and I thought that they were absolutely DELICIOUS (and I'm not even a huge fry fan). I can't wait to order more from their menu. I'm already looking at their vegan wings and beefless burrito! Really good food!

We’re thrilled to have a quick service vegan sandwich and fry joint to grab a bite with the kids. We got one of everything and shared it all family style. There was enough left over from lunch to feed us again for dinner. Mom running the dining room and daughter (owner) running the kitchen, it feels great to support a local entrepreneur who’s doing it right!

Best Vegan Restaurant in Akron! - Edit
Everything is so good! I had the BBQ Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, and a Fresh Squeezed Lemonade. Words can not describe how amazing everything tastes. I met several people on staff and everyone was so sweet and helpful. This is a must stop location in Akron!
