Read moreWeekdays there are a couple of choices - a burger and a salad; a starter (arancini) and a dessert (crumble). The chickpea & butternut burger was ok but the chips were cold and a bit stale. For £15.75 and a 45 minute wait, I wouldn’t hurry back.

Good food, friendly staff - Edit
Friendly pub with a good vegan options. We each ordered the tomato arancini, which were served on a roasted beetroot and balsamic purée with basil pesto. Beautifully presented and delicious. We also shared some perfectly cooked and tasty triple cooked chips.

Great burger - Edit
The menu could do with more vegan options, however, as I’m a visitor to the area, maybe they don’t get a huge vegan following. The moving mountains burger was great, I had it with fat chips as they weren’t too sure If the fries were vegan.
