Good Vegan food - Edit
We had four meals here and the jackfruit burger was my favorite. Excellent service. Gorgeous beach setting. The two negatives which are mentioned in other reviews is the small portions per price ratio and the cash only policy.

Could not be any better - Edit
What's not to love about this place. Great staff, great vegan food, and the best location possible.
Read moreThis is also a small resort and my brother and I spent four nights here which meant we could order unlimited amounts of food and drinks from the breakfast menu.

Nice vibe, prices too high - Edit
It‘s a nice restaurant, right at the Beach, the Menu is 100% plantbased, which is Great, the food is also very nice, but the portions are small and with almost 10€ per Main course the prices are way too high.

Nicer spot, western food - Edit
Giving an extra star because it’s all vegan, the dishes we ordered lacked a bit of flavour. Location was great, staff were friendly just missing something in taste.

Lovely spot along the beach! - Edit
We ate here one lunch and also one dinner. Nice spot with tables undercover and outside also has sunbeds but reluctant to put out the cushions at any sign of rain.
Read moreWe had a few different bits, all nice enough bit nothing outstanding as others have said not the cheapest but similar prices to other places along the beach and always nice to support one of the only vegan spots around.

Eco friendly concept and Delicious vegan food by the sea - Edit
Dining here was a real pleasure. The portions are generous, I sometimes had just a starter for dinner and it was more than enough. It’s wonderful to find a fully vegan restaurant right on the beach, with an eco-friendly philosophy: no plastic, glass bottles refilled daily, and reusable materials everywhere.
Read moreThe beach in front of the restaurant is beautifully clean, while near other places along the shore you sadly come across piles of plastic and small open-air dumps. That makes the sustainable approach of this place feel even more valuable.
As for prices, they are higher than in local eateries, but after traveling around Sri Lanka we realized this is very common in tourist areas. In Jaffna, for example, we once paid as little as €2.40 for two people, while in Nilaveli by the sea prices were the same as here, or even higher, about double compared to local inland restaurants. In Ella too, unless you go to very small local spots, prices are clearly aimed at tourists. So it doesn’t really come as a surprise.
We tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed it all. The freshly made coconut dessert was especially delicious. Breakfast is also excellent, and for hotel guests, unlimited. The only small drawback is the cash only policy, but as long as you know in advance, it’s easy to be prepared.

Ok but not great - Edit
Overall food was ok. Some dishes were much better than others eg scrambled tofu, jackfruit burger. The pad Thai wasn’t good at all and the classic burger was just ok. I think breakfast as a guest is good as it’s pretty much unlimited but coffee wasn’t good at all. For the price I would expect more! Told the manager but it didn’t seem like the feedback was really listened to.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
The restaurant (and the hotel) are set in a small slice of paradise on Mirissa beach. Friendly staff and a beautiful dining area along the beach set the tone for a promising meal. The menu is entirely vegan - yay! (which is difficult to find along this stretch from Weligama - we struggled to find proper vegan/vegetarian options around). We had the classic veggie burger, pasta pomodoro, and a passion fruit drink. The food was delicious, flavorful and the portion size was good. They customise upon requests and also do Jain (No onion, garlic) food too. The best part is dining on the beach, so close to the waves, and under the shade of the trees. They bake their own breads, make their sauces. Payment was by cash only that day. Highly recommended if you are in the area. It is part of a hotel, and they have 11 rooms - hope to stay here when we are back in this part of the world.

Excellent Vegan Restaurant - Edit
We went here tonight and found it amazing. We read the reviews prior and therefore were worried about the prices however we did not need to be. The service, food and drinks were amazing, as was the atmosphere. We had the mezze plate as a starter and the classic and jack burger as mains. They were cut in half for us so we could try both. I had a cocktail and we both had a couple of beers. For all of that and knowing that this is a fully vegan restaurant in Mirissa the total cost (including service charge which we were expecting based on our travels) was a lot less then what we would have paid at home. It was more expensive then some other places in Mirissa but in no way to an excessive point and knowing we are supporting vegan in Mirissa is awesome. 100% recommend this restaurant.

The overall atmosphere is great. Beachfront. Very nice attentive staff. Good food and a lot of options. The place is expensive even for the area. They charge a 10% service fee automatically.

Food was good but menu too pricy for what you get - Edit
I had the Jack Burger a Smoothie and a glass of wine. I liked everything, however, the smoothie was mostly just ice cubes and though prices on the menu are already pretty high, another 10% service charge is added.
Read moreStaff and location are very nice but in my opinion the prices are just a bit too high for what you get. Especially water, etc. should be cheaper. Coke, coconut, etc. which usually cost 300-400 rupees are about 900 at the slow.
Most of the food prices are actually okay. If prices were about 300-400 rupees less per item, this restaurant would probably be a 5/5 :).

Optik top, Geschmack flop - Edit

950 rp for water? - Edit
Basically we enjoyed the dinner. Its fun to be at a vegan restaurant. The beach is nice. The waiters were nice. The food wasn't amazing but it was good.
Read moreDuring the meal we asked for water. Most restaurants (especially the expensive ones such as this one) will give water for free or tops for 200 rp. I paid for it the same as for the beer - 950 rp. So for me such stuff as this ruin the experience
