Cosy, but minimal vegan options - Edit
The food was really lovely; however, there were limited vegan options. We got the avocado toast and the sun-dried tomato toastie, along with an iced Chai latte and a Matcha with coconut milk. Plus, the staff were really friendly!

Lovely brunch - Edit
Vegan cheese and sun blushed tomato toastie was delicious however the real show stopper for me is the iced coconut mocha. Limited indoor seating however a nice atmosphere inside

Limited vegan options - Edit
This place serves great coffee and cake but if you want to eat a proper breakfast/lunch here, vegan options are really limited.
Read moreSeating in and out is fantastic and it's a lovely busy little coffee shop with a really nice feel to it.
**our most recent visit** Weirdly, we got served takeaway coffee cups with plastic lids to sit outside when other people had cups and glasses. I'll ask for proper cups next time as it affected the taste of the drinks we did have, making them not up to their usual standards.
Pros: Coffee is nice, Hot chocolate is good!
Cons: limited food options

Best coffee we had! - Edit
What a great little cafe at Saltburn station! Food was delicious with plenty of choice for vegan or veggie options. We had delicious bagels full of creamy hummus or vegan cheese and sunblush tomatoes. Choice of unusual fragrant teas - loved the Earl Grey and Rose black tea - and the coffee was the best one we had all week. Helpful and friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere even though it was a busy lunch time. Although small inside, there were also plenty of tables outside, too.

Cute cafe - Edit
A few vegan options including a cake and drinks available including hot chocolate. Drinks sometimes come out lukewarm. Better in the summer due to lots of outdoor seating available.

Needs some improvement - Edit
Bit disappointing because this place could be so much better.
Read moreI’ve been generous with three stars, I’ve been here a few times, mainly because of its location, but it’s always one of those places that misses the mark. It has a few vegan options, mainly sandwich based, vegan cake and hot drinks. Service is poor, quality of food is very average, but of a stressy environment because it’s tiny and it was packed.
I only had a hot drink today, the coffee is also poor.

Overpriced for the quality of food - Edit
A smallish cramped venue inside, but has outdoor seating as well. The decorations give the place a sense of character.
Read moreStaff seemed friendly but they gave me dairy milk in my coffee, however they noticed this shortly after it was placed on the table. The non-dairy milk costs an additional 50p, which I thought was a bit of a rip off. There was a good amount of staff but some were doing very little which made the service slow.
My soup was £6 or £7 and it was just okay and the coffee was overpriced. In addition to this I noticed that a piece of cake cost around £6.50-£7!
My cauliflower and coconut soup had some good flavours to it however it was a bit too thick for my liking. No vegan spread available so the bread was dry and difficult to eat. Other options included a vegan cheese and sundried tomato toastie, as well as a vegan bagel. If you're in the area I'd recommend Signals over The Sitting Room.

Amazing cakes and hot chocolates - Edit
I saw this on happy cow and messaged them to ask about vegan cake options and the response was super quick and helpful so we popped in! I had an amazing vegan lemon cake as well as vegan peanut hot chocolate! It was amazing! There was so much choice for hot and cold drinks, 3 vegan cakes as well as gluten free options and some lovely sounding breakfast and lunch options. Will definitely be returning!

Great vegan coffee - Edit
Didn't expect to have a decadent vegan coffee in Saltburn and then I passed this place. They had advertised a vegan coconut mocha made from green and blacks chocolate and it was absolutely delicious.
Read moreThe staff were really friendly too. I would return for sure. Handily located just by the station too.
Pros: Vegan coconut mocha
