Plant based and Gf

Great staff and chai!, tasty options, maybe a better gf bread choice for us plant based eaters

Pros: Some tasty vegan options and delicious chai, Staff happy to adjust menu items to suit gf and df, Additional items available for larger meal

Cons: Only open until 2pm, No vegan gf bread

Gorgeous avo on toast

We had some really great avo on toast here, made on request (it wasn't obvious that it could be made vegan). However, there was explicitly vegan granola on the menu. Very good coffee too.

Pros: tasty food, high quality espresso

Cons: very few explicitly vegan items

Must try

Great place with a good range of Vegan options. Coffee was awesome. Everything we ordered was a talking point for flavour or combination. Staff really nice.

A must place to visit

I was in town with my girlfriend and we stopped at the Silly Goat to have the best coffee we have ever had and the vegan dish was so delicious. A jewel in the middle of the outback, for sure.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Beautiful place

Loved it!

Good atmosphere, DELICIOUS mushrooms. Can't recommend them highly enough. It was three kinds of mushrooms on a garlic hummus base with polenta sticks, fried leek and kale. Just excellent. Smoothie was also delightful. Almost worth going back to Broken Hill to eat there again!

A great find

With the feels of a melb cafe, this stylish and well run cafe is a must stop in if you find yourself in Broken Hill.
Many Vegan options and cluey staff who are more than willing to offer suggestions and accomodate for allergins. From the specials menu I had the Vegan Pad Thai (Raw Vegan!) which was fresh, tasty and devine (see pic) the vegan bowl however was pretty dry and on the bland side. Needed some freshness.
The big surprise was the cabinet full of vegan cakes and slices! 😍

Pros: Mylk options, vegan and allergin friendly.

Cons: None of note. I highly recommend 👍🏼

Good options

Staff very accommodating in veganising dishes but there is always at least one dish on the menu that is already vegan by default. Cashew cheese made on site is a delicious and good substitite for regular cheese. Good selection of vegan cakes too. Great coffee with almond and soy (bonsoy milk available

Pros: Great atmosphere especially at weekends.

Cons: A little pricey but you are in the outback!

Not much else around

An excellent place to eat breakfast or lunch. They'll try to accommodate your preferences and have a few vegan items identified on their menu. Nourish Bowl is a great option.

Pros: Friendly, flexible staff with a menu that works

Cons: Busy most of the time

Yum

Great option in a town with limited options. We had the Mary Jane, the beet full and el loco. All were delicious but would highly recommended the Mary Jane. Will probably go back for lunch tomorrow. Great smoothies but expensive.

Pros: food reasonably priced , delicious , multiple vegan and gluten free options

Cons: expensive smoothies and drinks , serves meat, milk eggs etc, double check ingredients of desserts and cakes

Great Breakfast Spot

This is such a great breakfast spot and I was surprised at how many vegan options were marked on the menu. I had a cold brew with macadamia milk on the side, a matcha latte (one of the bestsellers I've ever had) and the chocolate banana bread which was dense but filling and delicious. There were loads of breakfast bowls to choose from too and if I'd been in town longer I would have definitely gone back.

Lots of vegan options!

This family run cafe has a lovely atmosphere and lots of marked vegan options. I enjoyed a vegan hot chocolate with macadamia mylk and a vegan slice. The staff were friendly and helpful.
