Unexpected find in a small rural village

After a visit of a family party of 7 including 2 vegans and a to vegetarian to Raglan Castle (itself well worth a visit) it was brilliant to find in the small rural village a pub that could serve not just vegetarians but vegans.

OK there was only one vegan main course on the menu but it was excellent. This is the ONLY reason I have not given the Ship the full five stars.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and the people very friendly. We were allowed to bring a dog in and a 6 year old grandson was also welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble and there was no hurry, we were there for a couple of hours and could have stayed longer.

Pros: Very friendly couple running the pub, Understands vegan, Dog and child friendly too

Cons: Only one vegan main course choice.
