Decent options and caring staff - Edit
There was a burger option, but we went for the cauliflower and red pepper curry which was nice but could do with some protein, and my husband had the felafel salad which was really good. Staff came to check one ingredient in the poppadom to make sure it was ok with me (it was). Only dessert option was sorbet which is disappointing but then we spotted two vegan brownies in their cake display which were delicious. You need to book in advance. The dining room was fully booked so we were in the café next to the bar where people were watching football so it was loud!

Lovely staff were prepared to check anything was vegan with no fuss and were more than happy to do so. Very friendly and accomodating. The vegan options were a bit disappointing at first being your usual legume burger and red curry. Although, I had the burger and it was the best lentil burger I’ve had! Even though it wasn’t an inspiring option at first it was truly yum! Really well seasoned burger and the mango mayo really sold it, bun was really nice almost a mix between burger bun and english muffin! Also, coleslaw was naturally vegan. Would reccomend for anyone in company of others (as in non vegans as they had steak and seafood options etc) or who are prepared to not have many options but yum ones.

Had a fab meal at the Ship. One choice of starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert but didn't feel like the vegan dishes were an afterthought. Really tasty food and lovely staff.

Lovely meal - Edit
We had a lovely vegan meal at the Ship Inn Aberporth last night. There were several choices of starter & mains plus a lemon tart with raspberry ice cream for dessert. I had a bean burger which came with lots of sides and was really delicious. The staff were really friendly and eager to chat about the vegan menu , saying that they were trying to improve all the time. Aberporth is a plastic-free village.
