Menu changed

Disappointing. They got rid of the vegan Shepard’s pie and the cauliflower steak that I had read about. Waiter said the menu changed last month. They do offer a vegan wings. And my mother says the veggie burger is excellent, but not a lot to eat here.

Pros: Nice staff

Cons: Lack of option, Junk food, Noisy

Lots of Options

This place really surprised me! Having lived in the area for ages, who would had thought it had several vegan options! While the menu does not clearly indicate if the dish is vegetarian or vegan, the name and description of the dish would indicate so. Even their specials had vegan options; I tried the Vegan Sloppy Joe in a Portuguese roll: amazingly good and sloppy!

I can't wait to go back and try all of their other options. Only wish is for them to incorporate a vegan cheese.

Yum!

Cauliflower Steak

So good. Just make sure you ask them to do a different sauce. They just left the cream out of it and it was vegan !

VEGANS BEWARE

i visited this restaurant once and advised my waitress that i was vegan so please tell me if anything i order is not vegan-
buffalo wings are not vegan unless *possibly* requested. they put butter in their buffalo sauce. she said they could toss it in the sauce without butter but just depends how trustworthy you are.
vegan shepards pie was very good and seemed like the safest option so i went with that and did not regret it. i did originally order the VEGAN BURGER and our waiter told us the english muffin it was served on is not vegan. i asked what they could put it on instead to make it vegan and they said just sourdough bread. kind of weird to have a vegan burger listed that isn't even vegan without requesting a vegan bread...

Pros: good food, great service, nice atmosphere

Cons: not seemingly vegan friendly, false labelling

Fun Pub Atmospheremail with Many Options

This is a fun place with many options for vegans and any of their omnivore friends.. Veg options available for appetizers through dessert. I ordered the Vegan Shepherds Pie which was pretty tasty. It came with a choice of soup or salad and rye bread. The salad was great- bright and colorful rather than one of those boring iceberg lettuce/ tomato ones. There is a kids menu with a vegetarian choice (Mac and Cheese).I hope you come back and try some of the other options.

Pros: A variety of choices, Atmosphere , Service

Cons: Not the healthiest (but it is a pub after all)
