Nice surprise, even vegan cake and coffee - Edit
This was a surprise, as the menu posted outside was not as obvious but as soon as I walked in excellent customer service and covid safety, knowledge of ingredients and many vegan and vegetarian options. All tastey and homemade style.

Great veg lunch buffet - Edit
We came here for lunch, expecting to pay 2500 ISK pp for vegan burgers and fries. We were pleasantly surprised to learn about the 2400ISK pp vegetarian lunch buffet. The food was well marked so you could tell what was vegan. The soup of the day was a delicious cream of mushroom - made with coconut milk. The buffet comes with coffee and tea. A great deal in Iceland!
Read moreThe staff was very attentive. The restaurant itself was beautiful. There is exposed rock with clear plastic so you can feel like you’re sitting outside. It’s beautiful!
My husband says if you’re vegan or vegetarian and in the area, you should come out of your way to eat here.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Veg buffet
Cons: Potatoes were a little salty today

Labels, salads and soup - Edit
The buffet is mainly salads, really delicious salads. There are some hot dishes, but the best one is the soup. The staff is amazing and the price is average for Iceland (2400 ISK)

Filling and delicious - Edit
The buffet is a lovely spread of different salads, pasta salads, homemade bread, and the soup of the day. Allergens are clearly marked next to each dish and the staff are friendly and very accommodating.

Amazing Buffet - Edit
The vegetarian lunch buffet is just amazing. Almost all of it is vegan. The soup and the home baked bread are just delicious! There are also some vegan options on the regular menu (cake, soupe, burger,...). We would definitely recommend this place! Would give 5 stars if it would be possible!

100% Vegetarian Buffet with Vegan Options - Edit
After driving the ring road and having very few vegan options along the way it was wonderful to pull into Borgarnes and visit the Settlement Center and be welcomed by a 100% vegetarian lunch buffet...most of which is vegan.
Read moreStaff was very helpful and knowledgeable when asking what options were vegan. The soup offered was the best we've ever tasted. We loved the food and surroundings so much that we returned for dinner to try other items on the menu....and the wait staff remembered us and once again provided a warm welcome. Would highly recommend! Would give 5 stars if I was able.
Pros: Many vegan options, Friendly Staff, Free Wifi
