Great soup and salad - Edit
Soup and salad is very tasty and a great price. Sandwiches are nice as they use pink lane bread but would be nice if they branched out from falafel. They used to serve pumphreys coffee (may still do) so the coffee is always fantastic.

My favourite coffee shop and lunch time shop - Edit
Settle Down Cafe isn't a vegetarian cafe but they have a lot of amazing vegetarian options. Their salad is to die for, the do amazing pizzas and fantastic soups. Their £5 meal deal is a winner too and add all that to their amazing coffee and a scrumptious cakes and you'll know why this is my top cafe pick in Newcastle. Try it out, it'll quickly become a fast favourite of yours too I'm sure.

Right next to Tilleys bar in a cracker jackson part of town. This is a decent eaterie where you will find canny veg / vegan food lurking lovingly amongst the meat in pleasant surroundings. British food, British drinks, British Britain.

good food - Edit
Bowl was chipped, but the vegan Autumnal Root Vegetable soup was very tasty, garnished with roasted pumpkin seeds (too pulpy to eat). Vegan falafel sandwich on seedy bun was good. Soup & sandwich for £4.50. Also available: treats, mini-pizzas. Meat is used too.

Pros: tasty vegan soups and sandwiches
Cons: not completely vegetarian, needs some new dishes
