Vegan menu

Vegan menu with multiple options for starters, main and dessert. Dishes were tasty, but not remarkable. They brought butter with the soup and bread, although we ordered from the vegan menu. When we pointed this out they were quick to correct it and brought some olive oil to dip the bread in, but make sure to ask if in doubt! Portions are not very big.

Pros: Several vegan options, Dishes were ok

Cons: Mistakes in vegan order, Small portions

Great to see a vegan menu but the portions are so small!

Really happy to see this chain- Country Inn’s- offering vegan menus, I think it’s fabulous. However, the ‘Curry’ I received for £13- yes more than a curry house- was an insult. It was a pile of clumpy rice with a small serving spoon size of sauce and some boiled vegetables underneath. I actually felt really angry when I saw it- they think it is acceptable to charge £13 for this; I still believe it’s because it’s from the Vegan menu and they think we will be too nice to say anything! Wrong! It was sent back and exchanged for a tasty but small harissa burger. They either need to drop their extortionate prices or make the portions bigger.

Pros: Vegan menu with desserts , Friendly staff , Beautiful interior

Cons: Expensive , Tiny portions

Delicious Food

Have a separate vegan menu you can ask for, and dishes are clearly marked as being vegan or vegetarian even on the main menu. Lots of choice and the main and dessert I had were great.
Overall a lovely pub, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Went on a Sunday and even though it was busy service wasn't slow.

Pros: lots of vegan options, allow dogs in the beer garden

great new menu

The new separate vegan menu is great, the whole food salad starter was delicious as was the curry for mains. The chocolate tart for dessert was disappointing though, obviously just from a packet rather than freshly made. The service was good (we’ve been going fir years and have had slow service in the past, nothing to complain about this time though) and the renovations look good too. Great to have a good vegan menu nearby at last!

Pros: service , mains

Cons: dessert

Friendly staff, small but delicious portions

The pub is a nice comfortable place, the vegan menus is good (three of each main, starter and desert). The portions we're expensive (£10-£13) considering the portion size, but very tasty.

There's a pub car park too.

Slightly confusingly they Mark a couple of things on the main menu vegan, but also have a separate menu with more - so be sure to ask before thinking the main menu items are all that's available!

Pros: Nice pub, several vegan options, choice of deserts

Cons: Expensive, Small Portions
