Okay in a pinch but that's all - Edit
I have to give credit to a place that's so meat and cheese forward for having even one explicitly vegan option on the menu. Hence the two stars. Otherwise, vegans should pass on this one. The one vegan option is a cottage pie using impossible beef, which sounded promising, but is actually basic and bland. The drink menu has some interesting entries but the food is just too mediocre to be worth it.

Cool spot! - Edit
The cottage pie was great! My vegan bff and i split it (but it is a good size for one if you want leftovers or are more hungry) and we also got their house fries! The fries are seasoned well and have a slight curry taste to them which was interesting!

Highly recommend for good food and a good time! - Edit
Had the vegan cottage pie and was pleasantly surprised. Maybe other reviews caught them on bad days because my dish was delicious and full of flavor. I’m a sucker for pub food and there were multiple options which is rare and much appreciated. Wish I could rate them higher!!

Not worth it - Edit
Stopped here for dinner after a meeting in town. The atmosphere is nice, it's well decorated and cozy and in a great location. For me, that's all it had going for it. It was nice until the music started, which is so loud you have to yell at everyone at the table. If you have noise sensitivities like I do, skip this one unless you can confirm you'll be there when there's no live music.
Read moreThe cottage pie tasted like it had no seasoning at all. It was filling, which is good considering the price. It uses impossible meat, if I remember correctly, which isn't my favorite personally. All in all I would not recommend a visit here when there's other places with more options, better tasting options, and better prices in the area or a hop and a skip over to Asheville.
Pros: Great atmosphere, Beautiful location
Cons: Expensive, Only one or two flavorless options, Very loud

Good but limited - Edit
It's awesome they have one specific vegan item on the menu. Other than that, you're hard pressed to find anything that's vegan (though could do vegetarian) other than fries.
Read morePros: Great beer selection, One dedicated vegan dish (which is a plus out here
Cons: Very (I mean VERY) limited options, A bit pricey for what you get

Few choices but the vegan cottage pie was very good. - Edit
Well seasoned with Impossible beef, creamy mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. Well decorated interior with Scottish details. Crowded at times.
Read morePros: Tasty vegan options, Live music at times, Few vegan options in Waynesville so worth trying
Cons: Moderately expensive, Only two true vegan options but some appetizers
