Sandwiches to keep you going - Edit
Two vegan options on offer - imaginative fillings and lovely bread creates very filling sandwiches! First visit I had the cauliflower with Baba ganoush on chia bread and the second visit I had sweet potato with a lime pickle on sourdough. Freshly made, friendly service, great location.

This place does it well. Multiple unique vegan sandwich options. We tried the cauliflower one and the tofu one and both were excellent. Really pleased to see such imaginative options in such an unassuming location. Definitely recommend!

Really good food. There were a couple of vegan sandwich and cake options which change regularly. Really close to the ferry too so a good stop off. Really friendly lady who ran it too.

3 vegan sandwiches to choose from and no fake meat or vegan cheese in sight. Really imaginative choice of fillings on either sourdough or heritage white bread - we went for roasted celeriac and baba ganoush on sourdough it was delicious!

Artisan Sandwiches!! - Edit
Oh wow! This place is a real gem! Within the really understated exterior lurks some amazingly posh vegan nosh!!! There are 3 incredible vegan sandwich options. We opted for the roasted butternut squash and cumin on sourdough bread. The vegan cakes / brownies are made by the owner of the islands vegan B&B. Plant milk options for freshly made coffee.

One of my favourite food places on Arran! Was looking forward to returning. Had 2 different vegan sandwiches. Choice of fresh bread from Blackwaterfoot bakery. Shared a sweet potato and lime pickle and baba ganoush celeriac sandwiches. Yum! Lovely outdoor seating with beautiful views over Lochranza. ❤

Amazing - Edit
Who would expect such good sandwiches in such a remote location? There are three vegan options, each of which is very inventive (like dill pickled beans with beetroot) and everything tastes amazing. Vegan soup and cake slices available as well and prices are cheap (4.50 for a sandwich!).

Delicious and inventive options - Edit
Lovely little place directly opposite the Lochranza ferry. They had two vegan sandwiches and a vegan soup. Also they had some vegan crisps and two vegan flapjacks.
Read moreThe sandwiches change frequently apparently but they are always very inventive because the chef has been cooking for over 20years and they know what makes a good combo. Today the sandwiches were sweet potato with leaves and lime pickle, and then aubergine with some other delicious and things that I can't remember. They have two bread options, both vegan and homemade. We had one of each, saffron bread and a baguette The person at the counter was very friendly and they gave us some really good tips on vegan friendly places to go on the rest of the island.
Pros: Brilliant and original sandwich filling combos., Two sandwich options and a soup, and flapjacks!, Friendly staff
Cons: The happy cow map position was wrong

Choice of sandwiches and treats - Edit
Lovely takeaway sandwich shop, 2 choices of vegan sandwich (all bread vegan and locally made). I had sweet potato and salad with lime pickle on sourdough then packed grilled aubergine and crispy onions on saffron for later both £4.50 each. They sell small cartons of soya milk for 75p and also offered 3 different cakes, some of the choice today was chocolate biscuit cake and peanut butter and chocolate slice. Staff lovely and even coffee cups compostable.

Tiny place selling delicious vegan sandwiches and soup - Edit
The green options on the menu board are vegan. At the time of our visit, 2 sandwiches and the soup of the day was vegan. We ordered the celeriac, Arran mustard and pickled beetroot sandwich and the soup of the day, which was tomato.
