Great Vegan food - Edit
Saw all the great reviews so decided to drive to Lake Country to give it a try. Great location across from Okanagan Lake. Summer time so we ate outside. Place was busy so I was surprised how quickly we got our food. We started with the last piece of carrot cake they had and it was good. We had the Chic’n bacon ranch sandwich with salad- excellent! And the jackfruit quesadilla- also excellent. Will definitely come back.

Delicious Brunch - Edit
Few items to choose from. We had a hash and breakfast burger. The vegan egg was weird, but only because I am not a fan of imitation meat or eggs. But tasty overall. Nice little stop to the beach, unfortunately the ice cream shop next to it didn’t have any ice cream for Vegans

Not a bad spot - Edit
Very cute little vegan restaurant, good food, but just not enough for the price (sandwich was only soy curls between bread essentially). Came hungry, left hungry.

Hey there! Thank you for your feedback! We just opened back up last week and I fear this might have been an error from one of our training staff members, as it look like the sandwich is missing half its ingredients :0 If you are willing to give us another shot we would love to make you another meal on the house😄

Great lunch spot - Edit
We sat on the covered patio with our baby, they had a high chair, so it was perfect! Great vibes, staff was super friendly. I had the quesadilla and it was great! My non veg hubby had the chick’n sandwich and said it was excellent. Baby had the chickpea egg and gobbled it up (I had a bit and it was fantastic!) and we all shared a side of hashbrowns, which were good. I also enjoyed the fresh squeezed watermelon lemonade - loved that they used glass straws. We also shared a soft serve and a carrot cake and they were fantastic as well. Enjoying it all and forgot to take pics! But everything was presented nicely and it was absolutely lovely. If you’re in the area, highly recommend!

Cute little spot - Edit
Excellent friendly service. The food was amazing. Sad that they didn’t have any ice cream sandwiches left, but that’s ok, we will be back.
Read moreWe ordered a BLT, which was super satisfying. Some cookies, that were perfectly baked (not dry), and the carrot cake was to die for - which will throw your tastebuds for a loop. Instead of heaving cream cheese icing, they use something lighter infused with lemon. It pairs nicely with the carrot cake.
Pros: Friendly staff, Close to the lake, Delicious food at a decent price point.
Cons: They don’t have a location in AB

Delicious and different - Edit
We have eaten here twice and each time we’ve had something different and delicious. There are limited options but each item is different. Just had the fried egg sandwich made with a chickpea egg. Yummy! Not to be missed. Big patio, seating indoors as well.

Beautiful patio surrounded by flower gardens - Edit
Vegan breakfast and lunch menu with extensive goodies selection and coffees/specialty teas too. Sooo happy they are only 6 min from my sister's house! For my first visit I took a Lavender Lemonade Kombucha for the road, thoroughly enjoyed the Sunshine Latte (turmeric tea with coconut milk) and had a Brekkie Burito with added tofu bacon. My dog even got to enjoy one of their house made Dog Treats (chickpea, banana, oats).

We have eaten here several times and always leave happy! The baking is especially awesome and they have lots of GF options. Also the egg sandwich really impressed my daughter, she says it tastes exactly like “real” egg.

Best Vegan Meal Kelowna - Edit
We ate Vegan on our entire 10 day trip and this was by far our favorite. We had the Cobb Salad with Jackfruit and a chickpea curry bowl with butternut squash. Everything was excellent. Wish we found this place in the beginning of our trip and we would have eaten here more often.

I’ve been here a few times now and, though a little out of the way, it’s worth the drive. The food is fresh and flavorful. You can’t go wrong with the daily special or the Rainbow Salad.

Cute and yummy! - Edit
Not only is the cafe so quaint and welcoming but the food is amazingly good! Went for brunch today (Nov 18) with my friend and we ordered the breakfast burrito and the spiced pear french toast to share and two drip coffees. All of it was delicious and was completely reasonably priced. You must visit!!!! The only issue was that we couldn’t order the BLT because the bacon wasn’t ready yet.

Best baked goods! - Edit
It is difficult to go to The Salty Caramel Kitchen and not want to buy every single baked good from their shelves. The ginger cookies, peach crumble muffins, and pumpkin scones are just a couple of my favourites. They make a wicked savory pizza roll and cheez-dill scone as well. The chocolate hemp milk is a must-try (awesome with a shot of espresso).
Read moreWe love to bring our dog and sit out on the patio, with a fantastic view of the lake. They make dog treats that are free with purchase (of human food), and the doggos love them!
Worth the drive, even though it's a little out of the way. It's a great lunch spot if you're wine tasting in the Lake Country area!
Pros: Completely vegan, Loads of options, from baked goods to hot food, Dog-friendly patio
Cons: Location is far from city-center

The Perfect Cafe - Edit
The Salty Caramel Kitchen is in a beautiful spot just above the lake in a quiet community. The vegan menu offers a somewhat short list of food options, but they can all compete for the best choice. I suggest sharing dishes with your company so you can taste multiple items. It's a small cafe set up for casual social gathering and eating. I really enjoyed my meal and could not think of anything wrong so 5 star

A MUST TRY - Edit
I love supporting local businesses, especially ones that are ran by women. Salty Caramel Kitchen makes that INCREDIBLEY easy. The staff are approachable and helpful, while the food is beyond amazing. I haven't tried something I don't enjoy yet, everything is packed with flavors and textures like no other. The menu is always changing, bringing in an assortment of baked goods and homemade style food. This is a 45 minute drive from where I live but they will always have me coming back
