Speciality coffee house that serves a variety of vegan and gluten free cakes, such as blackcurrant and lemon cake and jasmine tea cake. Reported closed April 2023.
A coffee shop with a good atmosphere. Always nice decoration for the different times of the year. They also allow dogs. A good variety of vegan hot and cold drinks. They also have some snacks and a vegan sponge cake which I assumed too sweet to eat it whole. Good to share between three people.
They also have some savoury dishes during the week, but I never tried them tbh.
This independent family-run coffee shop is in the characterful old part of town. Not 100% vegan but serves coffee, teas and locally-made vegan cakes. Good selection of gluten free and vegan cakes.
I liked the decor, which was a warm wood and brick. Both the proprietor and his mother took time to come over and talk to me and as I was visiting Banbury, they gave me some historical info about the civil war meetings that took place in a nearby historical pub. Lovely friendly place.
I was told to inspect the toilet, which has a quirky design and I loved it.
The speciality is their milkshakes with ice cream, which are unfortunately not vegan. But I gave them a strong hint that maybe this is something they could develop in the future. Who knows...
